I originally got a desk that was missing apart but they sent me another desk. I really like this desk because it is simple and sturdy. There were more complicated desks on the market but it would have taken me forever to put them together and I needed an office pretty quickly and I would highly recommend this desk. Took some time to find a desk I liked but this fits my needs. Big, plenty of desk space and room underneath. I kept getting desks where I roll up to the desk or I swivel from one side of the L to the other my chair constantly rubbed against the desk or I wasn't able to sit where I wanted at the desk. I'm happy to say this desk has none of those issues and there's plenty of room under the desk. Plenty of space ontop of the desk and the metal legs seem far more sturdy than most desks using some fake wood as support. The thing was super easy to assemble and the instructions clear. My only concern with assembly is I might not take it apart for a decade and I suspect the metal pieces that slide into each other aren't going to want to separate after years of weight pushing them together. In hindsight I wish I had lubed those pieces up just so they'd come apart easier after years of having a weight push down on it and really bind those pieces of metal together. Hardly a concern. I hate stryofoam but I'm glad this thing was packaged together as well as it was. They use cheap plastic inserts on the corners of the boxes to absorb impacts. UPS definitely dropped this thing cause one of those plastic corners was completely shattered, the box ripped in spots, and a lot of the stryofoam broken. No desk parts were damaged. The packaging did it's job and survived UPS. If I had to complain about something I'd complain about the material the desk surface is made from. Seems similar to other fake woods that like to peel. We'll see how long it takes for the surface to start showing wear. Everything else about this desk is great. Honestly if the surface does start to degrade I'm just going to measure out the tops and have real wood tops made. Fortunately/unfortunately with how easy this thing is to assemble it would be easy enough to slap down some real wood ontop and screw that into the frame. To me that's a compliment to the design of the desk that I would rather replace the tops than buy an entirely new desk. ... show more

Iv dread the reviews and took the risk anyway, the product showed up and no issues like damage or what not. It took about 15-20 minutes to completely assemble. Super simple. Sturdy. Good stuff.

Sturdy desk. The wood is good quality and beautiful color. The legs are a strong metal. Assembly is easier than any other desk I have ever bought, just a few taps with a mallet to get the legs stood up and then a few hex screws to secure the wood. The hex driver is included. Assembly can be done in as little as 15 minutes. The description doesn’t mention that the desk is reversible so you can assemble the “L” in any direction. I bought two and assembled both to make a “U” desk. I’m getting one more matching straight desk to extend the build even further. Even better is that they are light weight so you can easily re-arrange your setup later. These are reasonably priced desks of good quality. I do recommend! ... show more

Like I said, it’s fine. Nothing came damaged and assembling the frame was incredibly easy. However, with the actual desktop plate, I was unable to screw in a side to the frame. This was due to that fact that the holes in the frame didn’t match up to the sockets on the desktop. Hard to explain here but, in short, the desk is far from perfect. It looks decently nice and is sturdy enough but don’t expect to put anything too heavy on it. Also, the desk is only 28in tall so is only good for short people (like me).
