Always liked Shure microphones, and these are no exception! Solid Mics, easy set up. Plug in receiver, put batteries in the Mics, turn everything on and it sets itself up. Connect to your amp and speakers and you're up and running. Battery life of 14 hours, but we will be using rechargable AA batteries, so no problem there. Pick up is great! These Mics will pick up the speakers voice easily 12-18" away. Not a karaoke mic! These are real, professional Mics, make no mistake... ... show more

These mics are great and have really good sound., I run a writers in the Round and have 4 artistic on stage. The all say they love the mic. There is a sweet spot you need to find but once you do it's great. I also needed to a wind screen to eliminate the pops that I didn't have with conventional wired mics. I was able to get 2 full gigs out of the battery life. ( 4 hours each plus set up time so I would estimate 5 hours per gig ). I tried to squeeze out a third gig but only made it to the end of the first set. I would give the battery life 12 hours .The Spec say 14 so I think that's pretty close. The battery warning is supposed to offer a 1 hour heads up by the indicator light flashing. I have not found this to the case, the indicator goes from green to red almost immediately and then dead in 2 mins. I never saw the indicator light do any flashing. I use eneloop AA rechargeable batteries which also work great. But I would always have a few throwaways in my gig bag just in case. I am quite happy with getting 2 gigs out each charge. Other than that I think the work very well and would recommend them. Nothing like having a clear stage. Also set up time for my 4 piece acoustic group is a lot shorter now that I am not running cable all over the place. ... show more

You saw the title? What are you waiting for? The SM58 sound is renowned in all walks of music. This Shure brand of microphones is legendary this world over. What exactly are you waiting for? If I could find a fault with this setup, I would literally be nick picking at this point. The wireless range is superb. The audio quality is absolutely! Magnificent. Ease of uses almost too easy. The microphones feel good in your hands. What exactly are you waiting for? It's and SM58 from Shure! It doesn't get any better if you're looking for a rock solid proven microphone that won't break the bank. ... show more

Super easy to set up and sync. The frequency is displayed inside the mic and you just match them to the receiver frequency that's fully adjustable, eliminating any guesswork. I have 2 sets, that I bought as upgrades for use at karaoke shows 2 or 3 nights a week.. so they get LOTS OF USE .. I suspect they will be as durable as my old mics that I've used for 10 years or more.. but the battery life is better in these, by far! I had to recharge the batteries after every show with the old ones, but these allow me to get 2 back to back shows without pulling the batteries.. good time saver.. or if I forget to charge them.. jeez.. Super clean and crisp vocals.. While I still prefer one of my older, beat up mics to sing, these are SUPER clean and crisp vocal mics.. BTW.. I've had ZERO problems with interference between the mics and receivers during duets or group songs. I recommend you set each mic on a different band & frequency. ... show more

I’ve gone through many mics but was hesitant with sure because of the price. Finically go tired of the low quality mics and ordered the shure. It’s definitely top of class.

    • Stopped working one microphone

Used for about 10 times in a year and a half - one microphone started to drop the connection and you can’t hear - changed battery - wire that connects the receiver to mixer - changed different channels - it’s just not transmitting sound from one microphone - did not expect that from a SHURE product after spending $550- have asked to connect with Shure tech support. Will update if they can resolve the issue by parts or service - but regardless - next time I may buy a cheaper product and replace soon enough if I have to - we spend this so we could really use it trouble free for Long! ... show more
