I wear size 9 in a closed toe shoe. I ordered a 9 and they fit like a glove, but I need a bit of room so I returned them and got a whole size larger. I wanted to wear medium thick knee sock and I was a little concerned about the ultra-smooth inner sole. The innersole is very silky smooth, and I could tell my foot would slide inside of the boot. I have issues when I hike/walk and my feet slide or hit the ends. Sliding makes my feet sore and hitting the ends make my toes nail come off. Anyway, I added a thin over the counter non-slip in-sole on top of the existing one. With a little custom fitting, I now have the perfect lightweight boot with no slipping and plenty of room for my toes. The boots free very secure. I really like them. In any case, I think you should order a half size larger so that you can wear good socks and have a bit of toe room. ... show more

These hiking boot are perfect. They run true to size. I wear a 7 in shoes and ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. I even put on a pair of thick socks with them and they felt great. Going hiking in the UP next week, I will give an update then. Definitely a great buy!

I really like these boots and I think they would have been perfect if they fit me better. I'm usually a 9.5 in boots and this 9.5 was too big on me. They are very light and comfortable otherwise. There's a comparison photo of a Columbia boot I have in a 9.5 that fits me perfectly. Unfortunately I can't make them work but they are of high enough quality that I will most likely reorder the correct size. ... show more

Very very good quality hiking boots, I love going outside and they just fit the feeling! Good bottoms as they have good grip so you'll have a hard time slipping even when it's wet. I’m on the fence about whether to keep these or not. I ordered 8.5, because many reviews say they are true to size. Not only are they too big, they seem like they’re cut wide I’m a video producer and wore them outdoors on a six hour shoot today. One felt better than the other ones. I’m going to give them another try tomorrow and then decide if I’ll send them back. But if you have narrow feet, these are not the boots for you. ... show more
