1. Camera quality is alright, bright lights make it blurry and you can’t see license plate numbers. 2. Suction cup is not good, barely holds up camera in the heat however where i live it gets over 115 so i bought a mount that holds it onto my rear view mirror. 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY, When recording new footage it all comes up as a damaged file and cannot be viewed, i’ve attempted resetting format, deleting all footage, restoring factory settings and nothing fixes the problem. The “protection plan” is a waste of money and time because the only solution they provide is to contact Amazon to return the product. The entire point of a dash cam is to have footage that is easily accessible to look back on, so this camera is entirely pointless. I wish the warranty i paid for actually fixed the issue because i would like to keep the camera just have it repaired. Save your time and money, I now have to return this and wait for a refund while also finding a new brand of dash cam because this one does not do the job. ... show more

    • Great value and build for the price
I love this unit, it's replacing another lesser brand that was not reliable. Easy plug and play, extra camera is nice and so is the added sd card. It always comes on quickly and I've had zero issues unlike my other camera.

This camera does a great job of recording the view out the front window of the car. The power cable is plenty long enough to be routed down the window frame behind the dash and over to the cigarette lighter. Quality of the video is really good, and makes it easy to see details of vehicles in front of you including their license plate. ... show more

After 3 months of use the unit keeps prompting me to "format the card". I do it and then 1 week later after very little use it repeats the message.

Camera works fine. Does the trick for us. We use them on our work vehicle and haven’t had a problem with the camera itself, but the hardware that comes with fit attachment doesn’t last for long at all. I think that the suction cup holder gets too warm on glass. Completely broken. If you do end up with this camera, I’d suggest putting it on your dash rather than on the inside of your window. It’s just barely getting hot here and these are falling down constantly and breaking. Wondering if I can’t get a replacement? ... show more
