  • Great Bone Conduction Headphones!
This is my first set of bone conduction headphones so I can't compare this brand to others but these Shokz ones are amazing! Great sound quality. Battery life is great although it does depend on how much I use them. On days I use them on walks to listen to music as well as to take calls (I do customer service work), the battery doesn't last as long as on days I use them less - obviously that makes sense lol. I usually charge them every couple of days. For my first pair of bone-conduction headphones, I am thrilled that I purchased the Shokz brand. Not sure I'll ever try a different brand because I'm so happy with these ones. I like that I can wear my glasses and these at the same time and it doesn't hurt my ears having them both on at the same time. I wasn't sure these were going to be worth the price but they definitely are. If you're looking for a comfortable pair of bone-conduction headphones with great sound quality and battery life, I highly recommend these Shokz ones. ... show more

  • Exactly what I was looking for!
I needed a headset I could wear while driving my motor home. I often get calls from work while I am off on a trip. I need both hands on the wheel and it is not safe to drive holding a phone to my ear. I also can't use the radio bluetooth option since most motorhomes are too loud. I also have calls the whole family should not be hearing. Pros: These things are comfortable. I can wear them for hours and hours. They don't block your ears and you can completely hear your surroundings. They transfer the sound through your jawbone. I know it sounds weird but it works insanely great. They block out about 98% of all background noise. You can drive with the window down and it blocks the wind noise. I even used them on a motorcycle with helmet on. The other person said I sounded great. Use Cautions: I bought these for phone calls but I found other uses. I can ride my motorcycle or bike with a helmet on and listen to music. This was a huge benefit bonus I never planned on. Sound quality is decent. There is no crazy bass or high fidelity.....Although they do make a model that is for music. I really can't call the sound quality a con since this model was designed for phone calls and does have some music abilities. Incredible battery life. I have yet to find the limit to the battery life and I have had calls and music for over 3 hrs at a time. Cons: I have yet to find any. ... show more

  • Update: FANTASTIC for Motorcycles
Update: After using this on my motorcycle for a week or so I am excited on how well this is working. They really should market and sell in motorcycle dealerships and at shows. Changed from 4 to 5 Stars because I realize that the proprietary charging cable is what contributes to how light weight the unit is and for the price...this is dirt cheap. Bluetooth connections are automatic, volume (for bone induction) is impressive and the microphone noise cancelling is about the best that I have used. Original Post: I have a lot of headsets and use them all for different environmental situations. One that I have struggled with is on my motorcycle which has Android Auto. With a helmet, audio and voice are covered with a mic and speakers mounted inside the helmet but on the occasions that I don't use the helmet the sound is projected from the bikes speakers but I cannot use voice commands. Riding with this headset for just one day I am super impressed. I do not care about music sound quality with these headsets, preferring to listen over the motorcycle's speakers. I can hear phone talk very clearly and the mic works very well with noise cancelling both speaking to someone or giving voice commands. It is super duper lightweight to the point that I forget that I'm wearing it and stays very secure even at high speeds and even when not behind the windshield. I removed a star because it uses a proprietary charging cable. It is also a little pricey. Overall though I think I am going to like this very much and it might become my primary mainly because it is so light weight and does not fit into or over the ear. ... show more

  • Good headset with some weird software quirks
I bought this headset for when I work from home and have been generally very happy with it, but there are some odd software interactions, though I cannot tell if it's the device or the software that is the source of the issue. PROS - *The headset is very comfortable. This is my first bone conduction headset, and part of the reason I got it is that the opening to the ear canal on one of my ears is shaped in a way that in-ear headsets don't stay in, and over-the-ear headsets push against my glasses and hurt after some time. This headset fits in front of your ears and has an unobtrusive mic. I often forget I'm wearing it. *Sound quality is very good. Voices are crystal clear. *Noise-cancellation on the mic is good so the people you are talking to on the headset will not hear your background noise. *It is easy to pair with the computer Bluetooth. CONS - *It obviously does not cancel noise on the speakers since it does not go over your ears, so the wearer can hear the noise going on around them. *Odd volume control - this is one of the quirks that I can't tell if it's the headset or my computer that's a problem, but no matter how I set the volume on the headset, it always goes back to the loudest setting when I take a call from either Zoom or MS Teams. Once I'm logged into a call, I can reset the volume, but it's kind of annoying that I have to reset the volume every time. At the same time, the volume is very low when watching videos on a browser, and I have to turn the volume way up. And finally, it randomly resets to the volume being off entirely. Again, I don't know if these are quirks with the headset itself or the software on my computer. I have a different headset where everything sounds really loud no matter how low I set the volume, and my work-issued headset at the office doesn't have any volume issues (but it's really uncomfortable so I don't like to use it). ... show more
