  • DANGEROUS
Color: 8" fry pan+9.5" fry pan+2.5qt. stockpot+...
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. After a year, the pan literally exploded. I was lucky to not be standing right in front of it when it happened but a metal piece popped off and hit the ceiling while it was cooking something. I'm lucky I didn't lose an eye. Terrifying experience and won't buy from this line again ... show more

  • Must have, great value cookware!
Color: 9.5" fry pan with lid
I absolutely love this pan. It's my favorite piece of cookware I use it daily. I've had it long enough to feel like I can give a fair review. It's got amazing heat distribution, it's nearly a 5 star in ease of cleaning it, it would've been a 5 if not for two things (1) the lid though lovely, it retains a lot of steam and and if you use oils it typically even after a few washes it retails a fog like look. It's crevasses inside if any food pops in them and can be a fuss to get out but not a deal breaker. (2) the 3 metal tabs that seal the handle from inside is a bit of a fuss to get all the bits out but they do come out with a slight bit of elbow grease. Over all though I have yet to have any trouble removing any food from the actual pan. I do recommend using a tiny tiny bit of veggie oil or butter if you are trying an egg and it makes the best pancakes but again use a tiny smidge of oil or butter for a clean removal/flip. (Pro-tip; go low to mid heat with the pancakes pop the glass lid on it and the pancakes rise VERY fluffy but still get nice and crisp and brown on the bottom) It's lightweight but not cheaply so which I like a lot. I don't understand why there's any negative feedback on this pan. It heats very well I think some are going too high on their heat it is non-stick yes, BUT-- it's in my opinion a lighter coat therefore some things might stick especially in high heat. Also please make sure at the bottom of the page in the product description be sure to read the care instructions for the pan. Don't immediately while it's still hot try to soap and water it wipe it out ok, but let it cool a bit then wash because actually ALL non-stick type pans when you do this the coating loses its integrity and over time it'll quickly weaken it and it won't perform well as like I said it'll lose coating. Don't brillo etc. Copper pans are some of the best investments you can buy. And this one is so cost friendly it's well worth the price. I bought mine on sale for $16 but I'd buy it for much more. Highly recommend!!! ... show more

  • Very light weight!
I just received my pan and cleaned it. It's a very nice looking pan which is replacing a very old non-stick pan from wear-ever (Not bashing that pan, it served us well over 12 years, and they still make it, but without the long handle AND it's almost $70) that had the old non-stick surface that was beginning to peel. I've been interested in the copper infused ceramic and the price of this pan makes it worthy of trying out. The box states (Right next to the lid on the picture) that it is oven safe up to 550 degrees. This box, however, includes "Fine Print" which clarifies that the glass lid is oven safe up to only 350 degrees. I love the induction plate idea. While I don't have an induction stove top...yet...it's nice to know that that large capacity pan can travel well and work on anyone's stove top, let's say, if you were doing some driving to another home on a holiday. The color is modern and attractive. It looks exactly like fake copper, which is not a complaint, but I don't want you to read my review and think that I said it looks like real copper. Real copper requires regular polishing to maintain a similar look. Real copper takes well to cooked on stains. This pan has a non-stick coating on the outside at well. If you clean the outside like you di the inside, this pan will maintain it's appearance for it's useful life. Finally, my concern... This pan is unbelievably light weight. It will not be the pan that you can toss into your pots and pans cabinet. I don't think you need to be ginger with it, but I know how the big pan on the bottom gets treated and I am pretty certain that this pan will not stand up well to being shoved around by iron pans or being dropped into the sink. The Wear-Ever pan that I threw out when this arrived was also aluminum and was the same capacity, but was at least 50% heavier. All that being said, I haven't cooked with it yet, so I can't comment on that aspect of it. Because of the thicker bottom and heat distribution, I expect his pan to cook well. Typically, I make a few meals worth of food for my wife and me using this pan and gravy for biscuits and gravy whenever we have guests on the holidays. I will update my review of this pan once I use it, then again after I have used it for a year or so. For the price and for what I see so far, I definitely recommend this pan for large capacity (3 lbs ground beef, 3 quarts of gravy) cooking. Neither of these capacities will be hard to work with in this pan. ... show more

  • Not what I expected
Color: 8" fry pan+1.5/2.5qt. saucepan+2 lids
I own a set of copper chef pans and I needed to replace the sauce pan. These pans are nice and look pretty but we're not what I expected. The non stick coating is nice and made for easy cleanup. But, these are much thinner and the glass lids are not as strong. They are nice but do not compare to copper chef ... show more
