I've had these lights up since September 2021 on a dusk to dawn setting through all four seasons in northern Ohio. Supported by a messenger wire, the cable and controllers have not failed. Today, May 13 2023 I replaced approximately 25 bulbs. Most replaced wouldn't turn a certain color or just stopped working. About half had water within the bulb. Not sure how the water gets in, but I have several that work fine that have water inside the bulb. I get a lot of compliments. The lights could be a little brighter, but they do well. ... show more

The primary image of the bulbs is very misleading. We were unable to make the bulbs multi-colored as the primary image clearly shows. Nor were we able to cycle to the described "range of modes, and 8 colors" — we cycled through flashing red/green and blinking RGB colors (we could not imagine that many people would want flashing on/off lights for any event...) As for the colors, white, amber, red, green, and blue; if there were 8, we didn't see them. Tho unhappy about being mislead by the sales image, the lights are sturdily made, and the amber LED – that we settled on because the multicolors were not available as sold to us – is warm, and feels like an incandescent lamp (which doesn't always happen with LEDs). ... show more

Ordered a new strand recently and without warning they just quit. I heckled the fuses, and they were fine. Unless something went awry in the box near the plug- I have no idea. Incidentally this is the second strand this happen with. The first strand did last a year- the second one pooped out within a month. ... show more
