Sharpie is my go to brand for arts and crafts the acrylic paint pens were great! Very easy cleaning. The colors were perfect especially the metallic paints. The drying time was short and I was happy with the price for five pens!

I used these to fill in engraving on acrylic. They were easy to use and worked great on acrylic. My pieces were masked. I colored the engraved parts then peeled the masking when dry. Worked great.

These paint pens are easy to use, easy to control, have good flow and solid, opaque colors. The paint is also really durable, nearly impossible to remove or scrape off after application. However, the paint bleeds when a varnish is applied on top. I tested each color four ways: one on stone without a varnish finish (silver “test” on side with white flower); one on stone, applying finish over pen after it dried (silver, red, and gold “test” down center); one on top of a layer of acrylic paint, with finish over both after they dried (silver pen on blue acrylic); and one on top of finish (red and silver pen on left and right edge, first pic). I found the best results came with using the paint pen on stone that already had a varnish finish. That way other paint on the stone is protected, and I can still use the paint pen without the color bleeding. My only concern is that the paint will chip/scrape or take UV damage this way - time will tell. *the varnish I use is Krylon UV-resistant clear gloss acrylic coating in a spray can. ... show more

I bought these because I saw a tic tok teacher using them to write names on desk for her students instead of using name tags. I change seats in my classroom every month and it was a huge hassel to retape name tags on desks all the time. Not to mention that most my students would rip off their name tags right after I put a new one day. So I used these markers on the desks for their names and it worked like a charm. They dried quickly and stayed all month long. My students were baffled. AND it was so easy to clean off the desks too. All you need it some hand sanitizer and some good paper towels and VOILA, came right off. I haven't used them for anything else yet, but I am definitely excited to use them for different things soon! ... show more

I bought these in order to draw on some mugs and label some plastic ware! On the mugs the markers look great, but be forewarned that the markers WILL smudge/remain sticky if they aren’t sealed onto the mug. The plasticware has kept the marker colors well, but the initials I wrote on them only lasted about 2 weeks of dishwashing regularly before they needed to be rewritten. Still last longer than the alcohol based markers I’d tried before, but it’s some food for thought if you were looking for dishwasher proof pens to use on dishes and such. If you hand wash the Tupperware though, the marker doesn’t come off nearly as quickly! ... show more
