Installed them, found the pigtails too short for my purposes, but did a work around. Now I look at them, and one is partially filled with water. Too late to return now. Update: The seller read my review and voluntarily offered to give me a full refund. When I told them that I liked the light and just wanted a replacement, they offered to ship me a new pair for free. This is good customer service, and makes my buying decision justified. On another note, I see from a lot of reviews that people think these will be like car headlights and light their way on the water. They are really docking lights, and can be used to light up obstructions/buoys/channel markers. You shouldn't be running with such lights on constantly, it blinds everyone else on the water. I did not expect this to be as bright as I thought it would be. We came back at night on the Kuskokwim River and was able to see both sides of the river bank. These 2 lights were on the side of my light bar. I got the same kind of brand light bar and they work really good.

I purchased these for a jon boat, but don't waste your time! The pigtail wires that come attached to the lights are 2 inches long and extremely light gauge. Maybe mine was a dud but I am doubting it for the price I paid. My roommate is an electrician for the USCG and was not impressed with the wiring or lux output of the product. These lights overheat in under 2 minutes and are seriously about as bright as your iPhone flashlight. Save yourself a headache and buy something better. ... show more

Bang for your buck! Hubs had not trouble replacing our ancient docking lights on a 1996 pontoon boat. These are wicked bright and make me feel so much more comfortable taking the boat out for after-dark cruises.
