The media could not be loaded. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this. I have been looking for an economical and easy way to get “night light” in the cockpit of my sailboat. When night racing you don’t want to lose your night vision so you use red light. I didn’t want to drill and run wires through the boat. I was looking at bicycle rear lights and 12v battery with trailer lights and Velcro. I am so glad I found these!!! They are almost perfect. I say almost, and I know the title says perfect and I gave them 5 stars, and they are awesome at what they do. The video and picture are un-doctored, they are bright!! They have a dimmer that is superb. My only gripe is that there is a non-ferrous washer inside the case, why?? Remove that in next version. It is silly. Plus boats and magnets are bad, along with metal that is not stainless steel. Second, why is the backing disc concave? The area to attach the included Velcro is the perimeter and a cross piece?? I am going to replace the included Velcro with two small pieces of 3M Dual Lock and then they will last forever! This is going to take my night sailing to the next level and when back in the marina, one button turns race boat into PARTY boat!! Will order another set to put below deck as well, so easy!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First. I've supplied a video of me clicking thru all the remote options to see how versatile these lights can be. Comes with a remote - which is ideal and perfect for this use case. The 3M stick pads do a GREAT job and each half is velcroed... thus to make it easy to replace batteries. I'm reviewing the 6 pack. There are different pack sizes. But 6 is perfect for coverage, in most cases - versus like 2. Please clean the spot you're going to stick to get rid of any grime build up - as you'll have this on your boat. Also, since there's a remote, you can use this in more than just cabin / seating areas. I put a few in my engine / battery area to help light up that if needed. As well, if you want, just pull one from the velcroed position, flip it to W ( on the remote for white) and carry it back or where ever you need some quick light. It's not just a single color. 16 diff ones. And multiple modes: flash, strobe, fade and smooth. And you can change the brightness for the stand alone color or the modes. Remembers the last setting you had set too. Just twist the top and the bottom to open to where the 3 AAA batteries go. Screw it back tight to set the seal. So many uses of this.     • No adhesion to my kayak
I used alcohol to clean the surface. After drying applied. The first sticker came off before I could even carry the kayak to the river, and is lost. The second fell off as soon as I put it in the water. The third before I got 50 feet away. The only ones to stay on were the ones that were on a completely absolutely flat surface, facing up. Otherwise the weight of the lights causes the sticker to fall/peel off whatever you're adhering it to. Since this eliminates the utility of the light, it is useless to me. ... show more

So the lights seems to be build well, overall looks good but I didn't like that every one of them needs 3x AAA batteries and it hardly gives any light. Must be really dark to see them. Plus the sticker to hold them falls off every couple minutes. It's really annoying, especially in warm days

They don't stick well to the surface at all. The lighting is fine but they came loose from the wood table I had stock them to after just 2 days. The stcky pad material doesn't stick well at all.
