This fit my needs nicely, installing it is easy just plug both ends in. Doesn’t hardly create any heat which some SFP cables do on the ends! Was shipped in an easy to read open bag. Once plugged in the two devices start talking to each other immediately. And it’s black so it’ll blend in perfectly.

The cables are quality made. They will work between network switches. The cables at lengths greater than one meter usually won't work from server fiber adapters. Check network vendor compatibility before purchasing.

Works to interconnect my two Netgear switches -- after configuring the port speed on my 10Gbit switch to match the 1Gbit switch. My only complaint is I thought the "0.25M(0.82ft)" would be the length of the flexible part of the cable, while it seems to be the overall length including the connectors which mostly go inside the switches. So, it seems a little short. I would suggest slightly longer version. ... show more
