I watched a few YT videos about this brand pole before installing it, which I think helped a lot. However....I still managed to use the wrong size extension out of the two. It's only a 1/2 inch difference. I should have measured. My only complaint is that the two small screws on the top part are very cheap and stripped easily when I tried to unscrew them to slide the cover piece up. I had to get my son to unscrew them with a larger Phillips head on a drill, thankfully they have nothing to do with the integrity of the pole. It does spin perfectly! I've been wanting to get back into dancing and of course get a good workout and this pole was reasonably priced but still good quality. Make sure you use a level to put it up! Feel sturdy and spins good! In the past I had a lupit pole which are way more expensive and I'd say this is comparable for a way better price! ... show more

I absolutely love this pole! The only parts i’d say i dont like is how difficult it is to put it on static. I lost the initial nails it came with to put the pole in static mode, and there are no other nails that fit into that part, so i only have a spinning pole which is not an issue AT ALL!! The pole is smaller than most poles. im a dancer, and the poles at work are thicker, which makes it harder to do tricks. This pole is very easy to work with and with some gripping aid, it work’s phenomenal! I have not experienced the pole moving out of spot, other than once! I did install the pole incorrectly, so of course it had some shifting. But other than that one mistake, this pole is EXTREMELY sturdy and leaves no damages! ... show more

Very sturdy, even on carpet. Used a studfinder. Easy to assemble, a bit difficult to level. The pieces did not stand up exactly vertically so I had to painstakingly nudge around the pole under mild tension with the ceiling to straighten before tightening. The spin is smooth and not loose. I dislike the design of the top cover since it is just cosmetic, but covers all the adjustment holes. I removed the cover so that I can retighten or loosen to move the pole if necessary. The chrome is good. The blue plastic wrap is annoyingly tightened to the bases and couldn't easily be removed. The base lettering is poor quality but I didn't expect much for the price. This particular make/model shows a very good build quality, with the incorporated spin mode. As a mechanic on the side of my main day job, sturdy construction of ANY rotating mass (especially one you are wholly dependent on remaining stable!!) satisfies the safety first component. I did take the time to peruse the bearings, suspension and weight balance (as this is essentially a vertical "driveshaft" in the spin mode) of the pole. Installation was super easy for me, and as I write these words, I do so with all the respective components of my body intact. Basic instructions are clear, not too much to question there. This particular manufacturer was also nice in terms of being generous with the CORRECT mounting hardware, matched toolset, bearing types, locking components and all the intense amount of physical science that goes into creating any one of these lifechanging devices. Pole dancing is a complex science and art and a wide array of concepts are implied, the first being a parametric oscillation system with imperfect parameter adjustments that could imply a MASSIVE sideloading torque on the pole that if it wasn't made well, it would be a final affair for you! Do heed the warnings on this topic; there is an upper limit on any weight-bearing system in terms of instable sideloading; this one has most of it covered as it was apparent that the topic was covered in the safety part of the design. I would not hesitate to set up another of these anywhere else. I have put considerable load on it in the meager four days I have been on it after I finished the installation and checked my work. I’ve had about four poles in the last couple years I’ve never had a pole irritate me this much. To begin everything was covered in bubble wrap and all of it was extremely oily So when it came time to set it up it was hard The instructions were very confusing and it didn’t even come with the screws for the iron cover Luckily I had my own since I’ve had plenty of poles once I set it up And got on it it fell. It should not be this Difficult to set up a pole follow the instructions step-by-step even though it was not explained well. The pole will not stay up. Good luck ... show more

I ordered this used but it was listed in "very good" or "like new" condition (can't find the actual listing now). First of all, I recieved no gloves nor the instructional booklet so that was fun putting it together. Second, it's scratched up top to bottom in really obvious and ugly ways and I cannot understand how it got SO scratched up especially with the big thick ring all the way around the pole near the 7ft mark. Third, and I think this is ALL the serenelife poles because when I watched a YouTube video to put it together, the girl in the video had it happen too and said it was normal, the last foot of the pole not only doesn't spin but there's a gap between the cover that doesn't spin and the spinning pole so that's also ugly and kinda dangerous if you were to reach up too far. Finally, it makes a rubbing noise everytime it hits a certain spot. I could handle the scratches for the price, but the missing stuff and the rubbing noise... not really worth the money. I'd be happy to work with the seller on this but as it is I have to return it. ... show more
