    • Reduced Aches & Pains; fall asleep faster
I love this little individual sauna. The FIRS direct heat does not heat up the rest of the room it is in nor do I have excess moisture from steam; I like the dry heat that feels targeted at me. I have been using this 3x/week for 30 minutes per session and absolutely love it. It gets plenty hot for me. I bought a bamboo stool as I read other reviews about how uncomfortable the chair was, but I found the opposite and prefer the chair that came with the sauna, although it is low to the ground and I definitely have to plan for standing up with my old/fat knees. Putting the sauna together was a 2-person job, but it is so light-weight, it was very easy to put into place after assembled. I have been having difficulty with setting the remote control to increase/decrease the time, but I'm guessing I didn't read the instructions well enough. I am shocked every time I get out how my body aches/pains are alleviated. I know there is disputed information on weight loss with saunas, but I have lost 7 pounds in the 3 weeks I have been using the sauna compared to ~5 pounds in previous 3-week periods of time. I am definitely sleeping better and my fitness tracker has reported an increase in how quickly I fall asleep on sauna days. ... show more

PERFORMANCE -I have had this for almost a year, and I use it regularly, integrating thermal therapy into my routine for physical and emotional well-being. It works great and gives me the big sweats I’m looking for. It’s a treat to have in my home for a minimal cost. Note that ambient temperature does impact performance. It has no problem reaching high temperature in a standard living space, however it can struggle if you set it up in a garage or other colder location. I have found that draping a quilted furniture blanket or two over the top and sides helps mitigate this and allows it to preheat to over 130 degrees- which is plenty high for infrared heat. I always avoid covering the wiring/ fuse box on the back though, as it seems best to allow that to access the ambient air to cool. SERVICE- Alas, my unit did have an issue. It quit working unexpectedly after it was on for an extended period. I reached out to the company, and they worked with me to evaluate the problem. They determined that the electrical components needed to be replaced, and they sent me everything I needed to make the repair. Within a couple of weeks I was back in business- the business of enjoying long sweats. SIDE NOTE- if you’re used to traditional Scandinavian style saunas, with hot rocks and occasional eucalyptus/water steam, do what I did and get yourself a small humidifier/ diffuser and set it up inside. You can run the power in with the rest of the wiring bundle in the back of the tent. Adding the aromatherapy element has made this thing even better. ... show more

    • Easy to setup and it works really well
Really happy with this sauna. The infrared heats up the "box" (tent) quickly and efficiently. I feel that all the pieces are quality: the tent is very sturdy and traps the heat better than I thought it would. The framing (tent poles) is surprisingly sturdy once its all assembled. The head pads that attached to the walls are easy to setup, the conroller works well to set the temp and the time. I really like that it came with a chair as well. Once put together its relatively light weight, so we ended up moving it into our walk-in closet without needing to take it apart. I would reccomend this to anyone looking for a nice single-person sauna that can be moved easily for portablility. It heats up quickly, and maintains heat evenly. I gave 4/5 stars, as my only wish is that it was a little bigger. I'm 5'11", 150lbs - so not a big guy. But when I sit inside my back is up agains the back wall heating pad, and my knees are just about touching the inside of the zip-up door. Its a bit cramped for me, but not unuseable. I bring a towel with me and drap it down the chair's backrest - this helps me say comfortable without the back wall heating pad roasting my back. ... show more

    • Well worth the money!
So I was skeptical from watching all the different reviews and videos online (Amazon & YouTube) and couldn’t decide between this and a steam style sauna but I ultimately chose the infrared sauna. Assembly was easy and I did it by myself in 10 minutes. The sauna works perfectly and it’s gotten to 120 degrees for me. I sweat like crazy in 120 degrees so people complaining it doesn’t get to 140 degrees is just crazy to me because I think that would be just way too much. I bought a thermometer and put it inside the sauna and it matches up exactly with what the remote says so I know it’s accurate. I’ve never used the foot pad because I just can’t justify making my feet sweat. I use this 1-2 times a day and it detoxes you and makes you sweat out water weight. I don’t really have any complaints with the exception of the funky (plastic) type smell you have for the first couple of uses. I did change/add a few things to make it more comfortable and beneficial. 1. Bought a sauna suit, 2. Put a PLASTIC folding chair inside instead of the one it comes with as you can wash it off and not end up with a stinky camping chair like what’s provided, 3. I bought an air diffuser so that I can have it going and you can put whatever sent oils you like such as Tea Tree Oil etc. Well worth the money and a lot better than going to the gym sauna where your sitting in everybody’s else’s sweat puddles.
