This is a nice basketball hoop but this size is better suited for kids. It is made very nicely though and the kids have been outside playing basketball constantly, so I guess it’s serving its purpose. Easy to set up as well. My kid is starting to throw a ball around so I actually set this up inside my house. She is having a blast. The best thing about this is as soon as she can dunk, I can raise the hoop. You definitely want to put some of weight in the base. I have water and it's working just fine. No worries about it falling on my kid if she decides to shaq-fu the backboard. ... show more

It is indeed a decent hoop, but it does not impress me, for the fact that the base is so cheaply made in weirdly designed. I really don’t like it and I can’t justify giving it more stars because of it. If you put it together tightly, it’s pretty solid. You had to fill up that base or it will fall over.
