I’ve been using this for about a year now. Is it working as its supposes to? Hard to say, but I know that I haven’t had any septic issues. Like some have pointed out, you want to handle with dry hands. These things are like gremlins, any moisture on them and you’re going to have a mess cause it dissolves fairly quickly. They are easy to use, just throw 1 or 2 in a toilet and flush! ... show more

They seem to work as it’s hard to research your septic tank. I do know they are very affordable and easy to use, a couple of flushes once a month is well worth the gamble when it comes to septic repair cost.

    • Saved us thousands of dollars on septic repairs! Works miracles!
We just bought a 60 year old house a year ago and have been renovating it. With 5 of us in the house, there's alot of waste going into the septic tank. After about 6 months, we noticed a terrible smell in the back yard and liquid seeping out of the top of the septic tank and running across the yard. We thought we may need a bigger tank or maybe the lines had gotten damaged. After doing some research online, several people said that the bacteria was out of balance and will cause these kind of problems. This item had great reviews, so I wanted to give it a try before spending $4,000 on a tank inspection. I think we flushed 1 pack the first day, then another about a week later. Didn't notice a change, but kept flushing them every 30 days. After 3 months, the smell is completely gone and no more liquid seeping out the top. I don't know how effective this product is because I just had my septic tank pumped. What I can say is that it's very easy to use, no mess, and dissolves almost immediately before flushing.
