OK, I have had this for a few years now and offer the following review. The packaging was superior and there was absolutely no damage. I have my washer and dryer in the bathroom and use the ceiling vent to help with moisture if I dry with the door closed. Over the years, the only reason for the door closed is for regular bathroom use. The dryer is hooked up to a flexible vent hose and an interior vent that catches any lint not removed from the dryer lint system. There has been no issue with any of the dryer components failing at all. The dryer itself dries very well especially for the amount of energy used. I don't use fabric softener as the gases emitted by that should not be vented inside to avoid breathing the gases in. To substitute, I use wool balls that I get at trader joes. The towels and clothes are just as soft as using a dryer sheet. The digital control panel is excellent. The settings are pretty intuitive and support my drying routines. My washing and drying is three loads per week at a minimum, sometimes twice that. Neither my washer or my Sentern dryer have EVER let me down. For lint removal in the dryer, I check between loads and generally remove any lint every other load. I change the lint cloth filter and door pre-filter each month. They are pretty cheap on amazon in sets. However, I recently have started to launder them when I do my gentles and haven't had to purchase any new ones in over a year. To extend the life of the filters if you don't want to launder them, you can remove a lot of stubborn lint with a clothing lint tape roller. But really, I have found that not an issue since I started laundering them. The dryer is quiet. Even with the wool balls for softening, it does not disrupt my routines in the next room (door open). I can watch TV and barely hear it in the background. That is really nice because my old dryer was noisy and it was in another part of the house. This would be perfect for a boat or RV as the power draw is minimum, however, with both of those I would vent outside. If you live in a very humid area, venting outside would be best. But in the middle or upper US, inside is fine. Again, no fabric softener sheets if venting inside. My vent is also purchased from Amazon and is a perfect match for this dryer. The media could not be loaded. I bought this on February 23rd 2023 and one year later it’s going strong! I love this dryer so much, I use it several times a week (we are a family of 4) it is so convenient for me since our apartment complex doesn’t have washers or dryers on site and saves us from having to do laundry every Saturday at a relative’s house or a laundry mat 😮💨 I had only 1 issue and the fan belt broke about 4-5 months in the heating on my dryer wasn’t working so i opened up the back and sure enough the belt came out sapped in half it was quite cheaply made it was cracked all over and didn’t look like a belt lol it took me awhile but I figured it out and found a replacement part within a day once I knew what it was and it was 10-15 bucks to replace and that new belt was much better quality. I highly recommend this I researched so much into what dryer to get for my apartment and I don’t regret my choose it 100 percent works and haven’t had any issues after that one incident 🥰 I felt it was better to review this after 1 year so you can know exactly how well it holds up and for what I paid I’m not disappointed! ... show more

I was super disappointed after researching and then receiving an item that had significant scratches and a dented side. Even if this machine is not $$$$ I expect a brand new item. Maybe this was returned and re-packaged but in either case not what I expected. Delivery was also a steep $60 with FedEx. 1 star unfortunately. ------------------ UPDATE: After reaching out to customer service they made things right. I really appreciate that they took matters seriously, were super responsive and helped me out. They worked with me on a solution that left me taken care of. So I am adding stars for the excellent customer service. After that matter was settled I was able to use it and can say that - while it is small (1 queen sheet max / or several smaller items) - it does get the job done. A queen size sheet dries in about an hour which beats the 2-3 days I was watching it to dry before. It gets pretty hot on high but not super hot on the outside. The filter is also easily removable.
