I was mostly concerned with information privacy, as well as a system that insured comfort, while allowing remote use. I found this Sensi thermostat after much searching and careful research, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I had my A/C contractor install it, and it took him about 20 minutes in total. After setting it up (firmware adjustment) with my system, it has worked flawlessly. It took me about a day to design a programming schedule that would keep our home comfortable throughout the week... and I've been thrilled with the results. Our home has never been so comfortable at all hours of the day! It has been remarkably cool, in spite of record high temperatures over the last 3 days. I'm TRILLED! It's super easy to program. The native application is easy to use, and flawless in operation. Connection is rock solid via Wifi6. No loss of programming. Almost instant access, and response. I love that this device doesn't think it's smarter than me. It GIVES ME THE CONTROL over the system and operation... not some godless corporation in silicon valley. The choices are MINE, and not made for me. HUGE plus! This Touch 2 also allows for the addition of wireless (battery operated) remote sensors to be placed in the home for added control. I added one ($40 each) to my (frequently warmer) master bedroom, and it has wildly improved comfort in that room. I added it myself, it was an absolute breeze. It has performed flawlessly since install. Two AA batteries are WAY easier to replace than running a wire through my attic. This is a total DIY WIN! I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and it gets a GLOWING 5-star rating with TWO BIG thumbs up! Kick that spyware demon out of your nest, and get the BEST climate control on the market! Great thermostat, easy to upgrade from older Sensi model. However, this Sensi Touch2 no longer seems to support Apple Homekit, which is a dissappointment, but not a deal breaker since their app is pretty good.

I very much like this thermostat. I like that it connects to the Alexa app. I had my air-conditioning company come out and install it and they had no problems with it. It seems like a great value for my money. I like the features that it has ~ I look forward to it having more compatibility with Alexa. I like that it has the extra sensor, because our bedrooms are always much warmer than the rest of our house so I can keep the sensor in the bedroom. I recommend this product. . ... show more

Easy to install. Easy to use. Easy display to read. Sensors work great and are easy to install. I called tech support and actually got a live person to speak to. They were courteous and very helpful. I switched from a Next thermostat and Sensi sent me the exact wiring diagram by email that I needed to install the Sensi thermostat. Awesome product and awesome tech support, you can't go wrong. We originally had the Sensi st75 smart thermostat, but the added room sensor accessory is a huge step up. We can now easily maintain humidity in every room. Big plus is you can add up to 15 sensors. We have four sensors set around the house, in our single story ranch and it's been great at keeping both temperature and humidity at set levels 24/7. If you're looking for a good smart thermostat get this model. The sensors are sold separately or in sets, but worth the added money. Works with almost every smart home app on market. The first thing that attracted me to this solution was the commitment by the manufacturer to not sell or misuse the data collected. Now that I own it, I would highly recommend it for the; 1) Ease of installation, clarity of instruction guide (online) 2) Simplicity of intuitive Operation 3) Remote Monitoring and Control via iOS app, no extra controllers/gateways required 4) It just plain looks good on the wall and is easy to read from a distance Opportunities for improvement; 1) Multi user geofencing option (only engage if ALL authorized devices are away from property) 2) User adjustable geofencing radius 3) Schedule management unclear, unusable 4) Provide time series consumption data (vs percentage of 24 hour day) 5) Show outdoor temp(/humidity) on sleeping display ... show more

First, I purchased one Sensi 2 unit. I wanted to try the unit before buying a second for downstairs. It is awesome. It allow someone to program many different times and temperatures. I’m on billing where 4pm-7pm is very expensive. This allows me to program the unit upstairs to have higher temps. We are not up there during the day. The thermostat saves about 3 hours a day of run time run. The majority of it during the 4-7pm time frame. It works so good, I both a second unit for downstairs. ... show more

Ok so I have been through 4 Amazon thermostats. They have ALL been junk. Come in with display problems, connection problems, garbage instruction/no instructions, not working at all or heater not working. Some were as much as $150. Fine so spend a little more as I watched a video on here that had GREAT instructions that matched my gas furnace and A/C perfectly. Everything connected the first time. WiFi connected FIRST TIME. Worked THE FIRST TIME. Connected to Alexa THE FIRST TIME. I am VERY pleased with this and if you follow the video it is an easy install. Wall plate even has a level!!!
