Bought this for my 18 month old, knowing it’s for 3+ but he really likes cars and Peppa Pig. Was able to just take the few small pieces out and he has a blast with this. Easy to assemble, perfect size and fun activities outside of just the track. However, the voices are NOT Peppa Pig characters; my child clearly didn’t notice but still odd. I am also very glad I was able to purchase this as a Prime deal as $45 seems much more fair for this product that the full price. Great present idea for toddlers. ... show more

This Peppa Pig Town Set is a unique addition to the other Peppa Pig sets, or a fantastic starter set for young fans of the Peppa Pig series. The track and interactive playground features are all made to fit the same plastic fixtures as other licensed Peppa Pig buildings and furnishings, so the completed track can serve as a starting base for an entire Peppa Pig world. After it is set up, additional buildings can expand outward and around this set to inspire imaginative, hands-on play from younger preschool-aged children. All of the 2" Peppa characters (sold separately) can fit into the foot pegs and interact with the track and buildings. This set arrives with only one posable and interactive character (Peppa), while Mummy Pig is part of the car. There is only one molded-to-fit space in the back for a character to sit in; however, the area is deep enough to ensure the character does not fall out when being driven around, even with the harder play that is typical of younger ages. The car itself looks the same as the family car in the series and is one of the highlights of this entire set. It requires two AAA batteries (not included) to be able to play the prerecorded Peppa Pig voices. The volume is reasonable, but the speaker "cracks" at times; especially during the Peppa Pig theme song. Sounds can be controlled by pressing the front of the car but they also interact with the track bits, based on the pattern presses on the bottom of the car. This design is very exciting for younger children and also further encourages longer playtimes and imaginative play with this set. My four year old spent about an hour alone playing with her Peppa Pig "city", built from her collection of previously collected, licensed sets built around this track. This toy is a great expansion pack to tie together other Peppa Pig building sets while incorporating new elements from the television series. It can also work as a starter set for children who have not yet received any Peppa Pig toys, as there are quite a bit of the series-inspired elements provided to start imaginative play right out of the box. There is plenty of space in the center and around the track to customize it, and it features many fun and traditional favorite routes for toy cars to take; a bridge, under the bridge and around town to the school, park and home. This Peppa Pig playset is as I expected and as advertised. My daughter is so into Peppa Pig that I know she will just love this. It looks pretty straightforward as far as putting it together which I have not completed as of yet. It is nice and colorful and I know she’s going to be over the moon when she sees this put together and ready to play with. I know we will have hours of fun with this. The only thing I can say is that I think the price is a little higher than I would expect for a toy of this size. Otherwise, this toy is going to be a great gift for my daughter. ... show more
