Will not buy this brand again! They connect easily to the wifi and alexa; however, I have to reconnect them EVERYDAY!!!! I will ask alexa to adjust lighting and she will say they're not connected so I have to go back to the sengled app and reconnect the lights manually one at a time just to use them with alexa. We tried bypassing alexa and only adjusting the brightness through the singled app and woke up the next morning for the app to tell us that one of them was not connected. We live in a 900 square foot apartment, the 2 bulbs are in the living room and so is our wifi box so the range and connectivity are not the issue like the app and booklet say. Not worth the price.     • Works great when scheduled but has one flaw.

Overall I like the bulbs, work great for the most part. It is easy to set schedules. The only problen I have is when the power goes out or flickers, sometime they reconnect with the wifi network and other times they don't. When it doesn't reconnect, the light bulb(s) will stay on. So if I am not home I can't turn it off and will stay on till you are able to manually turn it off. So if you are gone for a few days ir weeks, you can't do nothing about it and bulbs will be on all that time. Then, when I get home, I have to reconnect it again, adding it to the network all over again. It is frustrating. I don't have this issue with other bulbs from other companies, they reconnect automatically to wifi after power comes back on. ... show more

I bought a pack of two of these Sengled Wi-Fi bulbs. As you can see by the photo both bulbs have been on my network (they have different names and mac addresses) both were running at 2.4 ghz as the instructions said. Both would say their status on the network was on but the app status would be online for 5 min then they would go offline. The app has never turned either light on or off and I set the app to turn on and off at three sets of five minute intervals. The app name is sengled home and it's on google play. Read the reviews of the app before you buy these bulbs. Everyone is saying these bulbs won't stay online and the company keeps replying they have an old android version. I included a screenshot of my phone saying my software is up to date. DON'T BUY THESE BULBS!!! ... show more

Just purchased 2 replacement bulbs from a local supplier and they worked perfectly. I must have had bulbs from a bad batch when purchased from Amazon. The only difference I could see is the bulbs that work were packaged separately. The bulbs I got from Amazon were boxed together. Had received 2 of these bulbs from a local supplier and they worked great. Just screwed them in and gave Alexa a verbal command they instantly connected. So easy, in fact, that I wanted to expand on my home network. Rec'd these 2 bulbs and neither worked. One did not turn on at all, and I tried it in different lamps that function well. The 2nd bulb would not connect to Alexa, either via an Alexa verbal command or by the app, and I did try the reset function which seemd to identify it as working OK and ready to integrate into my network. Sending back and will purchase again from a local supplier. Also, the Senglad web site has much to be desired - created an account but then the web site wouldn't recognize my new password but it did direct me to their store. Hmmmmmmm ... show more

These have been the best bulbs so far. I've tried two other manufacturers. They were a pain to get Alexa to sync with them. Had to download app's and they wouldnt stay sync'ed. This one was plug and go. Never had an issue. I recommend them.

    • EERO Pro 6 Wifi Mesh incompatibility

I have an EERO Pro 6 mesh system in my house for wifi access. These bulbs would not connect no matter what I tried. If I turned off the EERO system and reactivated my Cable Router Wifi system and the bulbs setup no problem. However if I turned off the cable modem wifi and reactivated my EERO system, even though the credentials were all the same, the bulbs were unresponsive. I have another version of these bulbs that connect to the SENGLED Hub and those work fine with the mesh system. Bummed I had to return them but there was no fixes offered from SENGLED when I told them about the EERO system. I have no doubt this will be a temporary problem and SENGLED will come up with a bug fix soon but as of now 3/17/21, they are incompatible. ... show more

Why is this item being listed for sale when it DOES NOT WORK?? The app has 2.3 stars because it simply does not work with the light bulb I purchased. The light disconnects every 24 hours. You attempt to reconnect it to the app for 2 hours, only to be told that the item couldn't be located by the app itself. I definitely wastes my money with this awful, useless device. This company should be ashamed for selling such a defective and useless item. ... show more
