I got a different dresser than the picture. The brown was a darker brown than pictured and the drawers were different looking as well. I put it together and the top was already chipped and only 1 of the drawers aligned and was still incredibly hard to open and close. The screw locks come undone easily making the item very unstable in certain areas. I have been trying to return this for the past week. I chose UPS pickup at my home and no one has come to pick it up. If UPS attempts to pickup the package but can't, they say they will leave a shipping label for me to return it on my own but no one has came by to leave a label. I've called Amazon customer service twice already to schedule a pickup with no success. Not sure what else to do as I have zero desire to keep this piece. ... show more

I was so excited to get this dresser sadly the box came all beat up and some of the drawers are broken or the paint is coming off :(

Drawers break and it’s not easy to assemble. The tracks are off and they fall apart. Cannot hold anything larger than t shirts in them

Don't bother buying. To be fair, I did not put this together so can't speak to it's sturdiness. I thought this was wood as described, but it is MDF with a horrible veneer that on some pieces was peeling from the corners, and on others chipped. The material itself is cheap so definitely not worth the money paid and the return on something so heavy was a hassle. ... show more

On the DIY difficulty level... I'd give it a 9 out of 10 lol. Couple of tips. Make sure everything is straight even the screws otherwise you may need to go backwards a little. Read the instructions carefully. There are a lot of pieces, segments, and screws and bolts involved. I would find a big area to set it up - living room or garage to give you space to separate and organize all the pieces. It's a pretty hefty furniture piece and the quality of the wood feels better than just regular press board but it's gonna take you a few hours to put this together if you don't build stuff like this everyday.
