I ordered this set to try my hand at hot chocolate bombs. I didn't realize til I got my package the the molds were two different sizes, but in the end it worked out well! These help me create great homemade chocolate bombs to give for the christmas season and in all honesty you could make these for anytime of the year! The smaller sphere is great for smaller cups, the larger sphere is great for like wide mouth soup cups. I used semi sweet chocolate chips for my first attempt, I didn't care for it to much it was too bitter so next attempt I will try milk chocolate. Recipes suggest you use a good quality chocolate bar such as bakers, lindt etc. Happy creating! ... show more

    • Worked well for my yummy hot coco treats
The media could not be loaded. Loved this for making my hot coco bombs! Haven’t used the smaller mold yet but the larger one worked very well for me as it allowed the chocolate to come out easy and smoothly. I think this is a perfect activity to do with kids and it’s super cute!

    • Best used for intended purposes (not perfectly spherical)
I should note, the problems I'm listing will probably not impact if you are making bath bombs or cake pops (which I know are the more Intended use) Sugar work and resin might want to stay away. I specifically bought them for resin work (I make hand painted eyes for fursuit costumes) the cure was fine, it's a smooth silicone mold so there is no fault there. Durable quality, everything you would want in a good mold. But with clear materials you can really tell the shape isn't perfectly rounded. It doesn't reflect light properly and I would assume this issue would also effect sugar work for that reason. Never fear if that isn't an issue to you though! I have thoroughly cleaned mine and given them to my baker roomate who has made some good little cakes with them. ... show more

This mold was perfect for my cocoa bombs! They were so easy to pop out, fill, and decorate. I will definitely be making more cocoa bombs plus other spherical treats. It was really easy to wash as well, and is dishwasher safe (I have put it on the top rack). I highly recommend it. Tip if you are doing hot cocoa bombs: do not use regular chocolate. You will not get that "shine" on the outside. You need tempered chocolate (melting wafers or bark). ... show more

Bought these molds to make hot cocoa bombs and they turned out great! The molds held their shape while spreading the chocolate and the chocolate released from the molds easily! I didnt really want the smaller mold, yet found that gifting a few small bombs with the large ones was a hit (for the kiddos)! I also used the small mold to hold large bombs in place to drizzle and decorate! Very easy to hand wash, didnt try them in the dish washer. Very happy that these weren't a scam and actually arrived. I brought some previously that never shipped and was skeptical about any listing on amazon. These are great quality! Would buy these again! ... show more

    • Nice set of molds
I used the larger of this set of molds to make hot chocolate bombs. It worked very well. The mold is thick enough to be sturdy, but the molded chocolate popped out easily when cooled. It was very easy to clean. I'm quite happy with it and look forward to years of use.

I had bought a half circle mold elsewhere and it didnt show up in a timly manner so I bought this one. Then I finally for the other...This one is bigger, thicker, and of higher quality. I made the best coco bombs with this mold! Super happy about it!
