Not bad molds, sit flat and had relatively few issues with bubbles, but I'm not really a fan of the flower shapes themselves. They just don't quite look right to me, like the proportions are off. Also, some of them have the center way deeper than I think it should be, so the resin flowers end up with huge bumps in what would typically be the lowest part of the bloom. I got these to use on mother's day and I can't wait to use it. I did try it out and the chocolate came out great only problem was it took forever to mold and hardened.

These are small silicone disks with floral impressions that you can fill with a wide variety of things--chocolate, clay, soap, resin, etc. What you will get is a very small and thin, but highly detailed, flower which can be used for decorating whatever you are making. Makes beautiful roses and flowers. The mold is very well-made. Itโ€™s nice and thick so it wonโ€™t crack easily. The chocolate or fondant is easily able to go into the mold and pop out well formed. Mold is easily washed with soap and water. It has a nice weight to it so you can tap your product in it without it spilling over or popping out to get a nice formed flower. ... show more

Iโ€™ve been playing with these molds and polymer clay all morning and Iโ€™ve learned some things, which have led to getting improved impressions from these molds. These molds are quite dense yet squishy and flexible. It is very easy to remove molded pieces out of the mold because the molds can be squeezed together from the sides and the piece comes right out. I know these molds are for fondant and chocolate yet if polymer clay is well conditioned, these molds work great for that, too. In one of the pictures, 3 yellow sunflower type flowers are shown. The biggest one is the worse one in terms of detail because it was my first one. The other two got progressively better and the details captured were wonderful. I then put mica powder on the mold flowers with a paint brush before I put the clay into the mold. This is most visible on the rose shaped flowers and it worked really well. So I went back the the sunflower/daisy flowers and put a lot of mica power in the molds, put the clay in and then baked them to cure the clay. Obviously I used too much mica powder which left little pitted places in the petal details. I was using tidbits of leftover clay for this experimenting so nothing I made was really dazzling yet I did get some good examples of how realistic and detailed these flowers are. The baked flowers with the pitted places from the mica powder actually look like insect eaten flowers. ๐Ÿ˜Š Anyway, these molds are great, easy to use, fun to play with and I learned a lot on how to use them successfully. ... show more

This set of flower molds works great with polymer clay. Because some of these molds are a little more detailed than is easy to use with polymer clay, we've experimented with pressing the softened clay only partway into the mold to get the impression of the petals without getting the clay all the way wedged inside the molds. We've also had some success with freezing the molds with the clay inside of it, and then pulling the clay out carefully after everything is more chilled and stiff. I got the graduation-themed molds because weโ€™re entering the graduation season. My wife is a Confectionary Artist (Professional Cake Decorator) and I wanted to see how she would respond. I asked her what she could do with these small graduation-themed molds. She made some graduation-themed cupcakes and sold them the same day. How about that? She likes these molds for the following reasons: Easy to use. She said the silicone molds could be used by someone who is not experienced in cake decorating.
