They sound fine and seem sturdy enough. Of the set of 6 there were two where the heat shrink tubing over the solder joints wasn't shrunk. This might explain some of the problems other folks have had. Just takes a minute to fix with a lighter or candle.

Basically happy with the purchase of these cables; the one caveat being that you must must must be careful when pulling the cable to make sure not tug it behind the jack connector or you will be having to solder it back together.
