  • Don't be fooled by the price!!!!
The old saying "you get what you pay for" well... doesn't really apply here. My whole career as a touring musician, I believed Good equipment isnt cheap and cheap equipment isn't good. That frame of mind changed today. They 100% delivered on their mission statement. Competitive sound at a working musicians price. To be honest I was reluctant at first to try them. The price seemed way on the low side. I read all the reviews watched all the videos read up on everything i could about this company. Took me 2 weeks to give in and give Seismic Audio a try. The 2×10 cab alone sounded gread. Good punch and tone with good mid and highs with out using a tweeter, and deep bass. Alone that cab could be just enough on stage. The 1×15 cab had great bottom end and clear tone and that too could be used by itself. When i combined the two they married perfectly. With a full spectrum of sounds completely balanced. Not one cab was louder than the other. I am impressed. Thank you Seismic Audio! ... show more

  • Nice Speakers! Great Sound!!!
First off, the speakers arrived way before the designated arrival time, which was a very nice surprise. Upon opening the speakers, I noticed how well they were packaged. Package sheathing along with ample styrofoam and heavy cardboard. Good construction of the speakers, and with the set of (2) cabinets, they stack on top of each other quite nicely. I use a Hartke 750 watt head with EQ, and I was able to pull out nice, rich tones at low and high volume. The cabinets are pretty lightweight and easy to transport with sturdy handles, whatever your use for them are. I highly recommend the speakers, and they are definitely worth the money! I highly recommend. Thank you!!! ... show more

  • Get what you pay for
These speakers look cool and are cheap but you get what you pay for. I suppose I could be wrong and it might be the bass head I'm using but idk.

  • BUYER BEWARE!!!
I bought these speakers based off of the reviews on Amazon. They must have paid people for these reviews. The shipping for this item was quick. I received them in 5 days. Before ordering I asked questions on this site about an acceptable Head/Amp to power both cabinets. I spoke with company representatives that assured me the 550 Watt amp I bought would be more than enough to power these cabinets because they use the same brand head at 450 Watts. I ordered quality speaker cables and attached them as recommended by a company employee after asking a question on this page. These speaker DO NOT HAVE DEEP BASS like a bass player would want. The head/Amp works fine and powers name brand cabinets that produce deep house shaking bass wonderfully, but these seismic cabinets were more than disappointing, they are a SCAM. When I requested a refund Seismic said no problem BUT you remember that free shipping we advertised with this product? Well if you return it we will refund your money MINUS the money for shipping it to you. In other words they said I had to pay the shipping they paid to ship it to me and they would only return $270.00. To make matters worse I live in Ohio and the shipping weight of both boxes costs $77.36 to ship via FedEx in the original packaging! Consumers don't get shipping discounts like a business does. So that means I'm out $45+$77=$122 JUST TO RETURN THESE DEFECTIVE HIGH PITCHED SPEAKERS!!!! I will only get back $192.63 of the $315 I paid for these. Do yourself a favor and buy from a company who stands by their product. These speakers are not appropriate for bass guitar. They are all highs and mids. I even hooked up a friends head/amp that powers an earth shaking 2x10 1x15 and the seismic speakers sound TERRIBLE!!! I have even switched out the speaker cables I bought for known good speaker cables from a friends rig and guess what? These speakers have ZERO LOW END!!! ... show more

  • Powering these with a Carvin bx250 and it's like an earthquake at 1/2 volume
Novice player. Powering these with a Carvin bx250 and it's like an earthquake at 1/2 volume. Even at lower neighbor friendly levels they sound good. Fuzzy carpet style covering that is a lint magnet, no big deal. Sturdy grills, metal corner caps, rubber feet, nice handles, not too heavy to move around easily and they stack together well. I'd recommend these to the budget minded bassist wanting to loosen up some fillings. ... show more

  • Awesome set for the price!
I bought this set up with a Carvin BX500 bass head, This is simply AWESOME, highs are great, bottom end is more than I could possibly imagine. You must have a bi-amp head to separate the two, I myself like this combo, I can move the earth with the lows, and blow your eardrums out with the highs....try it you'll like it... ... show more
