The reason I said “almost“ is because within 24 hours the cotton rope legs behind the claws were completely chewed off and because I was watching, I was able to pick up the cut off part so that my dogs didn’t swallow it. My dog usually destroys toys within a day or two. If they are destroyed, then they look like they've seen battle. So far this toy is holding up. Now I don't want to jinx it!; but it's hanging in there. My 8wk old miniature Schnauzer loves this toy! He can carry it around with him and chew on it. He even snuggles up with it when he sleeps. It’s the perfect chew toy and buddy for your little one. Great quality and durable.

I have a 9 mo Australian Shepherd puppy and she loves plush toys but always destroys them within minutes. She’s had this toy for a week and aside from a few modifications this has held up beautifully!! Seems to be durable for our puppy. I really like that the rope legs move, just a little extra thing to keep him occupied. I am a little amused at the shape of this lion though... :)
