Assembling this is not for the faint of heart. My husband helped assemble this, who is very handy, and it took us about an hour to get it fully set up! There are lots of little pieces to it, and it's easy to accidentally assemble them in the wrong direction, so there are times we had to start over on certain pieces. But, once it got assembled, it's provided a great work space for my multiple laptops/monitors. It does come with a strip of lights you can place and download an app to control the hue and brightness, but the lighting strip does not adhere well. This is a great desk! The color matches the furniture I already have perfectly and I set this up long ways instead of as a corner desk, the fit of it in my office is exactly what I needed. The assembly was fairly easy. I (a female) was able to put this together on my own (with the help of my kiddos handing me screws, parts etc as needed) within about 3 hours with breaks. I like the raised level for monitors to go on as it keeps them at or above eye level so I don’t have to slouch as much. For $200, you get a lot of desk here. You even get the little tools you need to put it together, and a few extra parts (which are needed because the QC of labeling and inserting those plastic threaded inserts is pretty bad. Note that this is not heirloom quality - this isn't something you'll be handing down to your kids... it's a cheap computer desk made out of glued together wood-like material with some kind of plasticized veneer that may or may not begin unraveling at some point later.. but hey, in fall fairness, your kids will be preoccupied with other things than whether you hand this desk down to them (like finding clean water and fighting off Jeff's corporate robots who've come to collect their fees for providing you medication to slow down the cancer you got from opening the front door during the day) but I digress... before the climate change and epic conflict between G and A, you'll be fiddling with this desk.. and for quite awhile. The instructions are quite detailed and clear. This will still not stop you from putting some pieces on the wrong way, only to find out later that you have to turn them 180 degrees because a minute little hole in one piece of metal needs to be in a certain spot. Expect to do a lot of that no matter how diligent you are. Some pieces look the same but they're not. This entire desk is a test to see how you will fare later when the robots come and sanitize humanity, leaving only those capable of repairing them when they can no longer repair each other, so please make sure to properly follow instructions. Your future may depend on it. Beyond this, once you get this assembled you may notice it's pretty neat - the LED strip, while quite flimsy, does seem to work well and the green'ish glow you get underneath the table will eventually match the daylight sky, reminding you of what color it is outside now that climate change is in full swing. But remember, don't open the door. Don't ever open the door. The only major problem I had was that the panels do not sit flush with each other (see picture). In the L-configuration, there's support for one panel, and not for the other, so if they sag 5 minutes after installation, I expect they will sag even more. However, a decent value for the money, and a good use of the remaining trees and tree-like stuff the fine folks in China are using. ... show more

So when i first got this i was very excited to receive a nice big table for my new place. But everything went downhill as soon as I bought it. BEWARE for being such a small table, it’s really heavy so if you send it back, they will MAKE you pay it. Also the images are misleading, the table is small and monitor/keyboard take up the whole thing. won’t even allow you to put up the shelves without being squished. You can’t use any space on the table even with the shelves removed. very uncomfortable. !!!!!!! ALSO beware!! That this is a third party seller and if anything goes bad amazon cannot help or refund you. You buy this scam of a table at your own risk!!!! !!!!!! wish someone told/ warned me I had to pay someone to move it for me into my new place. After paying someone to move it, to my horror when I open the box, the table was broken and badly scraped/ used looking. Most of the table was not white, it had discoloration that made it look yellow, it had black scrapes, and the paint is chipping off with it being cracked. It looked like it was used, let alone, thrown through a hurricane. I was very upset considering I could not lift it and return it. I contacted the seller immediately to let them know that the table came damaged and used. However, they told me that they had to submit a shipping claim through FedEx and that I could return it back if I paid the shipping. Most of the damage was due to the fact that there was not enough protectant in the box for the table, and I believe the chip of paints was there before it was even shipped. So fedex wasn’t even the issue. the tape on the box even was undone! I was not paying shipping back for a very heavy table. Do you know how expensive that is?! and on top of that I had to pay someone to lift it for me and I had to get a whole new box because the box came so badly beat up/ open. !!!!Considering it is also a third-party seller if you return it and they claim that they did not receive it back you will not get your money back for it and you’ll be left. Empty-handed. !!!! It’s truly a gamble. It was a waste of my own money, and basically had to pay to send this table back. So I said no to that because there was no way I was going to pay to return a table that was very damaged. At the same time the table went on a great sale and so I asked the seller if he could just refund me partially for it, since it seem like the best solution since i could not return it. They did not want to help me therefore, I had to submit a claim with Amazon. This claim took about a month and a half arguing with Amazon because they could not help me with the seller. Because he was a third-party seller they had no authority over this and they could not get me a refund. Therefore I had to argue with the seller to be able to have a refund but it was only a $75 refund I still had to pay over $100 for damage table. The sellers table images are also misleading because the keyboard and the monitors show very small on the table, making it seem as if the table is very big. Meanwhile, my monitor and my keyboard take up the entire table. It is not comfortable at all it’s for gaming and give no arm room/ mouse room. There are so many other things that went horrible during this entire process but to keep it short please save your money and time and do not buy this table. I wish I knew that this was a horrible third-party seller that Frankensteins their table pieces back together and sells them to you. I wish I have listen to the other bad reviews because they were telling the truth. I don’t know how this table got so many good reviews, possibly paying people to review his product, because multiple people have argued that the table came and broken and that the seller is scamming them by sending them used parts and not allowing them a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS TABLE. finally after a month and half I was able to get a resolve with him but like I said it was only a $75 refund and that is ridiculous to me. I had to keep pushing because they only wanted me to get $30 back. I was also in a time sensitive moving process and the seller had no remorse. Do not waste your time with this. I love the size of this desk. I use it for my work station and having the extra shelf along the top is great. I have plenty of room to work. The section for my printer unit is perfect and the deep, wide drawer holds so many files helping me stay organized. The desk was challenging to put together for all pieces were not labeled and I didn't , at first, pay attention to the tiny detail, like where the holes were in the picture, so I had to redo the desk half way through. It did take 4 hours and that was after getting help about half way through. It is sturdy, looks good and worth it. ... show more
