I'll start off by saying, I ordered two cameras, both worked great at first but after about 3 weeks one stopped working. I was quite busy at the time and didn't have the time to work with getting it back online until today and after more than an hour, I still cannot get it to turn back on, it's plugged in and fully charged. It's completely inoperable. Of course it's too late to return. BUT, I like these cameras so much I'll eat the cost and order another one. I didn't want to bother with (or pay for) having to hire someone to wire my home for security cameras. These were the perfect answer. My only concern was the solar charging as I have a lot of trees around my property. I have the camera set up in a way I can easily remove it and charge it about once a month. Once I get my replacement camera I hope to use the solar feature as it will sit on the sunny side of the house and will report back about it's ability to charge via solar. With the exception of one camera that didn't work long, I am very happy with the ease of use, the picture quality, the security features and cost of these cameras and highly recommend them (with the caution that if you have problems, be quicker on the return than I was). ... show more

This solar powered Wi-Fi camera has a lot of useful features. It works with the CloudPlus app and if you follow the step-by-step instructions in the accompanying User Manual, you should be able to set up the camera on your Wi-Fi network. Just make sure the network you choose has a strong signal. The app can do a signal strength test and let you know if the signal is strong enough. The solar panel has a nice long cord so that it can be installed some distance away from the camera itself. All mounting screws are included and installation is very straightforward. Having the camera able to charge up continuously is great. Unless you had long periods with no sun, you wouldn't have to bring the camera in to charge it. The pan and tilt app controls work well. Pinch to zoom is is almost too sensitive and will zoom in so far you can't recognize the object, so go very slowly and then you will see amazing close-ups. The resolution of the camera is quite high-def. It has color night vision by default and at dusk, it looked like it was still daylight outside. Every detail was visible. The adjustable volume is a really good feature. I could talk through the speaker or use the default alarm. Once you put a micro SD card in, you can store data from the camera. There are many options available through the app, including cloud storage. I look forward to learning more about all the features of both the camera and app. ... show more

Wow! I finally got my camera up and running, it works great, it has great definition and very good quality the solar panel it’s like nothing I had ever seen and it seems have a very long range to be able to connect to wifi, my main gateway it’s at a distance and still works with 3 bar signal out of 4. The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical in purchasing but I wanted to try a solar camera and I am so glad I did. It was very easy to set up and install. Once you follow the instructions provided you should be fine. An app is provided for download . This is where you navigate the camera. The quality is good, Wi-Fi connected without any issues, I am notified each time someone, vehicle or an animal pass by my apartment. The camera rotates 360 so I can view all angles . If you need to record, you can right away . It evens have audio so you can speak through it. It evens has built in alarms if you suspect danger , with the click of a button on your phone it could wake up the whole building.
