Easy & Simple to setup. We'll see how well it works notifying me of visitors? Had this this since December 2022 and now May 2023 it has stopped rotating left and right! Well you get what you pay for! Pretty annoying that it craps out in less than a year! June 2023 one of my Blu Cams stopped working & won't reset & keeps failing to connect! I don't recommend getting these as they are garbage that stop working less than a year after getting them! ... show more

I hve this at our vacation home. Works well, easy set up. I set it on humanoid detection ( yes that’s what the setting says!) because if I put it on general motion, it notifies me too much. Also this one is away from the porch and I think it’s too far for the motion light to come on

Honestly I’m a little shocked at how well this thing works. I did a lil research, tried to get a Ring, decided I could careless abo the little community you have to pay for( which was the only perk I could see) so went for something more practical and something I could adjust the view with. This thing is dope, motion sensor so it takes a pic of what triggers or it will follow and record what triggers the camera. Has a siren if you so choose to scare your son when he’s taking the trash out at night ;)… over all it’s a great purchase and a fun little toy for me too! It stores videos and pics on your phone for free too! Great for blackmail on my son :D ... show more

My first security camera. Easy to set up, very good video quality, nice features available via app. Installed on covered porch outdoors and until today, survived, wind, rain -30 windchill. Along the way, had some problems with going off-line, solved with reboot. Today, will still rotate up down and left, but not to the right which makes it less useful for my front porch. Other reviews question outdoor vs indoor issue. Moved to diff location where I will continue to use in a fixed position (i.e. no motion detection, no need to rotate). Just bought very similar Symynelec camera. Getting used to that. ... show more

    • Does not work on SD Card as advertized!
The camera has great visuals INCLUDING night vision. But it's mostly useless to me because I don't want to pay for a cloud service. It advertises that you can use an sd card, and you can, it just doesn't seem to allow you to use most of the functions outside of basic snapshot images. Contacting customer service didn't help. They took a while to respond and in the end couldn't help me. The app group told me eventually that they didn't feel it was their problem (the app is where the video and snapshots take place and the sd card shows connected and active, so I don't understand how that's the case) and told me to contact the item manufacturer (they are apparently two different groups). They never have responded. That being said, if you intend to use the cloud service, the camera really is pretty amazing for the price point. And installation was super simple. Just avoid if you're intending to use sd card for video. Or need to contact customer service. ... show more

Playback starts at 12am and you have to scroll to whenever you want to view. Playback will also freeze and you have to manually scroll past it to continue the feed. There is no activity sections, so if someone throws screws in your driveway like what happened to me, you LITERALLY have to watch the entire day. Movement notifications will send you 50+ alerts a day regardless of sensitivity settings. When you do check an alert, guess what, you have to scroll to it from, you guessed it,12am when the new day started. When you finally do start scrolling you'll notice large blocks of time cannot be viewed because it says "end of video" yet you can keep scrolling past that block of time to one that actually plays back. This happens randomly throughout the day. IR light output is about 5-10ft from the camera if that. Using visible white light is better but still sucks. This feature also broke after about 7 or 8 months. Couldve been extreme heat though. When you screw the camera into the socket you will have to align it to where you specifically want to see which may not be all the way screwed in because the 360° feature stops and limits out at a certain point before you have to turn the camera 360° in the other direction. This is common with 360° cameras but it being in a light socket makes it more irritating. Just spend over $125 on a new solar camera, ir light, solar panel for the ir, and an adapter cable for solar panel to run the ir light. Buy once cry once, this camera is trash. ... show more
