I bought this as an experiment having had no exposure to weighted blankets previously and the results have surprised me, I normally sleep in 2 hour increments but now I consistently sleep in 4 to 5 hour increments and wake refreshed. It’s very comfortable. The first night I slept with I actually fell asleep quickly. I have anxiety and it’s very comforting. Even my dog loves to lay under the corner of it. He’s very skiddish and nervous and he wouldn’t get out from under it

I have had trouble sleeping because of anxiety, and this has helped. I'm 5'9" and 180lbs...and it works good. Only negative is that the cover is a little hard to put on and off, but most duvet style covers are hard to put on/take off... It does make me hotter and sweat a little...but that is to be expected with another cover on you. Definitely a plus to have for sleep (for me). ... show more

This blanket is really soft, but I giving it 3 starts because the inside moves on his own and it does stay with the cover. I was really looking forward to this blanket and it is a shame it moves and gets stuck in the corners.
