The media could not be loaded. UPDATE!!! My original review was back in November of ’24, now I’m back to complain a bit. There have been multiple instances where I start to open a new bottle with it, and not even halfway through getting the cork out, it starts to slow down so much that it is barely moving and I am unable to fully remove the cork. I have to Jerry rig it out and use a manual opener to finish removing the cork. Per the manufacturer recommendation, I leave it plugged in charging at all times so I know it isn’t the battery being dead. When I try to use it without opening anything, it works perfectly fine at full speed. Hopefully it doesn’t keep doing this or else I’ll just have to throw it out. This is top notch! So incredibly simple, effective and quick. Makes me upset at myself for using an ordinary corkscrew for so many years lol. It finally ran its course so I bought this one and I am most definitely not disappointed! If you drink wine on a regular basis then this is an excellent purchase! We shall see how long this lasts, hopefully just as many years as my previous manual corkscrew 😜 ... show more

I have purchased 5 of these openers. Some work better than others. They are beautiful and look good on display at your bar but as far as functionality, your mileage will vary. After opening a few bottles, the motor will not be strong enough anymore and this will need to be replaced. That is the main issue with these openers is that the motor can't handle many bottles before it fails to work. The waiters cork is far superior to this. ... show more

The red opener looks great in my kitchen. Its blue light confirms that it's plugged in and charging -- a huge plus for me since I often have to swap out plugs in my kitchen that lacks sufficient outlets for all my appliances. It works well. I'd read that some buyers found it to be slow, but I don't have that same view. True that it isn't super fast. But quite frankly I don't want it any faster. It only takes a few turns either way, so what difference is a couple of seconds. I would buy this again and would recommend it to a friend. Might even buy it as a gift!
