I bought this for my daughter who's learning to skateboard. She was riding my old Caballero Chinese dragon re-issue, but wanted her own. Found this as she likes the beach vibe and surprised her with it for her birthday. She was ecstatic! She immediately called her friends to schedule a "skate date" to show it off. The deck veneer is bamboo on top and bottom. Dunno if it is all the way through. The trucks are Gullwings with a 1/4" risers. The wheels are Sector Nine Nineballs, 61mm diameter and 78A durometer (soft), translucent blue/green in color - like the ocean. Graphics are as pictured, hand painted style, with clear griptape to show off the top design and bamboo wood grain. Double kick with moderate to low concave - more of a cruiser, but enough to do kick flips. Awesome board and it was $50.00 cheaper here than at the local surf shops!
