I have always put tapes under my shoes to keep my shoe bottoms last longer. It was a trick I invented during college and i have kept it on. I will use regular tapes and reapply after a few weeks and that makes my shoes last longer. Recently years, I have tried to find stronger materials since I do not want to change it all the time. This is advertise as shower stickers but it is perfect to use under your shoes as protection and anti skid. You got 24 in a pack so that will cover at least 6-8 pairs. For some boots, I put two on one side, for some high heels, just one is good enough. Of course this still work great in the shower but try my tip for shoes. ... show more

These are super easy to apply, and stick incredibly well. I bought them to line my tub for my 16 month old, and I couldn’t be happier. They are totally clear, so much so, you almost don’t see them ( not that that matters in our case). The grip on them is substantial too, he hasn’t slipped once since we put these on. I haven’t had any problems with them whatsoever, and shortly after putting on the first set, I bought a second set. Before this I was using a mat, but never felt I could get it clean enough. They have only been on for a couple days but so far are holding up well. I purchased these to put on the floor of the tub so that I could sit my toddler in the tub to bathe her and she wouldn’t slip around. My logic was a little flawed: 1. I bought white stickers for my white tub thinking they would blend in and the toddler wouldn’t be as distracted by them and want to peel them up or worse put her face in the water to investigate them. I would not purchase WHITE stickers again. I thought my “white” tub was very clean until I installed these stickers, they just highlight the faded/20+ yr discoloration of my tub. 2. To achieve the non-slip effect these stickers are quite rough. So they are not comfortable for the toddler to sit on and she now screams when I sit her in the tub. I tried standing on them and they don’t bother my feet at all so I think they are just too rough for her legs. For the most part, these stickers really stick great. you have to be careful with the star-shaped ones, however, that you do not touch the sticky part on the legs of the star. When peeling off the back and you want to touch only the center of the star so that the edges will all stick firmly. If not, then you will end up with little star legs that flop up. the anti-slip knobs along the top of these feel great on your feet but it does take a little while to get used to them. ... show more

I fell and busted my ass in our VERY TINY shower. It took longer than I'm willing to admit to maneuver around and get back up. With the only thing injured being my pride, walked into the livingroom quoting Sheldon Cooper and his wisdom in regards anti slip adhesive ducks. After explaining to my husband how this topic came about and assuring him I did not have a head injury, i was on the hunt. My bathroom is decorated Nightmare Before Christmas, duck would not due. I searched and eventually found these perfect black stars. My shower is small so we had enough to use these twice if need be. I bought these back in March, and they originally worked great, but bit by bit, they have started to become unstuck, and some have entirely come off the bottom of my tub. I only use my tub to shower in, so they have not been excessively submerged in water, nor has there been a great deal of friction on them. I'd really like for these to last longer than 6-9 months; I have had others in the past that have had much better long-term and quality adhesion. They adhere to the bathtub floor just fine but in regards to slip resistant it does nothing to help at all. they are too small and do not work well in this regard. They look cute and stick well but that is not what I bought them for and will need to buy bigger ones elsewhere as I do not like matts because things get stuck under them and are harder to clean. So for slip resistant stickers I don't recommend but they are cute and stick well if you are looking for something to just decorate your tub. ... show more
