Bought the queen for a kind bed with wooden head, end and side boards so didn't need the extra bulk hanging down, and it's just the perfect size. The quality is very good but I didn't notice that one side had a bit of an issue where the threads were unruffling - seems the stitchings in that area were not completely finished and clipped neatly; so I have to be careful how I snip them so that the whole thing does not become undone. Thought about returning but due to the holidays traveling and business just could not get around to it. It keeps me warm with just a light in between cover or sheet, and I like that it's something I can also keep on the bed through the Spring and summer. This quilt came quickly, is well made (I inspected the binding all the way around) and is so much prettier in person than in pics. While the patchwork side is actually sewn patchwork, the flip side (green floral) is a solid piece much like a typical quilt. It is thin & lightweight, so people who sleep colder may want to throw another layer on the bed. I ordered queen size and it has more than enough coverage.
