These are very bright due to the LEDS. They take just one battery so they can sit for a long time in the unit without issues because the batterie's won't discharge into each other. And they should run for over 20 hours based on my calculations. The box is great too. Take the bubble wrap off each light, put it around your 2 c batteries and put them in the center of the box. Then put it in a water proof area of your boat. The box can sit there for up to 10 years and the lights will still work depending on how fresh your batteries are. The mount and hardware can be made to work for any boat and are "Caught out after dark get back to the dock without a ticket" Quality. The lights themselves are really good quality but fine thread so screw on the caps slowly. If they fail on me this review will do down right away. ... show more
