The media could not be loaded. I am allergic to most regular sunscreens. I have spent years using mineral based zinc sunscreens that are marketed towards babies sensitive skin. Those provide amazing protection, but they leave you looking like a ghost! I have tried over 20 different mineral sunscreens in this one is by far my favorite. I no longer use any others. it is lightweight, rubs in very easily, and leaves absolutely no white cast. When you sweat or go in the water, the sunscreen will come off and you will be able to see a white film on your skin, but this just goes to show you that it is a true mineral based sunscreen that does not get fully absorbed into your skin, which is excellent. ... show more

This is one of the worst sunscreens I’ve ever used. Even if you apply exactly as directed on the packaging and let it dry for 15 minutes the second you touch water it melts off of you and appears like someone threw milk all over your body. It also leaves a terrible white cast. Do not recommend. The photo I included is directly after I splashed a little bit of water on myself kayaking and had applied the sunscreen to my skin, dry and 30 minutes prior. I’d been searching for a pregnancy safe mineral sunscreen and this is it! It goes on white - but you rub it in and it’s totally clear! This is not a spray it and go sunscreen (none are!!) and you do need to rub it in for 5-10 seconds on each area. It’s hydrating, doesn’t stick to your skin like glue, and washes off in the shower with soap. It also protects my skin and lasts a good bit if you’re not in the water. This has been a savior this summer. I’d previously tried Blue Lizard, Supergoop, and Coola before being a loyal convert! You won’t regret it! ... show more

Standard chemical sunblock gives me an allergic reaction on my hands, so every spring I’m forced to go through the routine of researching sunblock. I wanted to like this one, but found it underwhelming. I bought this in May and have been using it for about a month since summer arrived late for us. PROS: • Spreads easily • No white cast • Doesn’t feel greasy • Doesn’t cause breakouts, or allergic reactions CONS: • Has kind of an off smell, which at first smelled citrus-y, but later started to smell kind of rotten. • Seems to wash right off when you go in water. When I walk into the water, I am surrounded by a cloud of white. • NOT reef safe—this really irritated me given the company’s tagline. • In order for this stuff to work, I think you’d have to apply it so frequently that you might use half a tube for a day in the sun. • Other reviews mentioned the tube splitting where crimped. This happened today leaving the tube very difficult to transport without a mess. • Formula separates giving it kind of a bird poopy look (Sorry, it’s true!). ... show more
