I am extremely active and will regularly spend 4 to 6 hours in the glaring sun. I need effective sun protection and this works very well. I HATE greasy products and they are often dangerous (for example, if I am climbing, cycling, using power equipment). However, this dries to the touch making it much more comfortable and safe product. I have never burned with it on. It does a good job of being sweat resistant, although when I get to hour four of my bike rides, it does start to run a bit.
