  • Pure quality
Size: PX-1600W ATX 3.0
I don't regret paying 470 USD for a PSU. It's for a very long time (12 year warranty) and supports the latest atx 3.0. Tried it under load with GPU consuming 430w and CPU 150w. It's a super light load for this PSU and fans didn't even start. When fans are not in ECO mode it's still pretty quiet, can't hear it. Cables are braided and much better quality compared to the last gen PSUs. It even comes with cable combs. Overall, it's the best PSU on the market right now and totally recommend it. ... show more

  • Dead silent and ridiculously overengineered
Size: TX-1600W ATX 3.0
Only superlatives comes to the mind with this massive power supply. From the box, all the cables, the casing, accessories, everything screams 'high quality'. Very heavy, the PCB connectors are extremely well made, all the cables are top notch quality and seats with a pleasant click noise. Talking about noise, once you turn on your computer, you quickly realize how dead silent its this power supply. While running 3dmark fire strike extreme with my RTX4090 drawing 500 watts (plus an i9 13900k, 64gb DDR5 and a ton of RGB) the power supply doesn't even sweat. The plan its to add a second 4090 to practice with AI, that's why I decided to shell $600 on the best power supply available to have plenty of juice for both GPUs. Be aware this power supply is big, so you will need a big space inside your case. . In short, this thing is amazing, super high quality cables, ultra silent and absolute performance. If you have the $600, pull the trigger, you wont be disappointed. ... show more

  • Fantastic Power Supply - Extremely Quiet
Size: TX-1300W ATX 3.0
I've tried a few power supplies before deciding on one, and this far surpassed all the others. Noise is a big factor for me since my system is water cooled and pretty silent. I initially tried the Lian Li edge, but I could hear the fan clearly over the rest of my system. This PSU is completely inaudible so far. The cables are PVC sleeved. Not quite as nice as the mesh sleeves from CableMod, but they are still high quality cables. I ended up using the BeQuiet 2V-2x6 / 12VHPWR 90° Cable, which works perfectly with this PSU (since all 12VHPWR connectors are compatible regardless of PSU brand). Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and the zero noise is worth the extra money in my situation. ... show more

  • Best PSU on the market, hands down. And will be for the next decade.
Size: PX-1600W ATX 3.0
Costs a pretty penny, but this is one component that's going to travel with you from build to build. Why? 1.6kW is basically the max power you'll get out of a standard North American wall socket. And it supports 2 ATX 3.0 connectors, which are both rated at 600w - and that's 3/4 of your power budget right there - you just can't get more out that poor socket. That standard just came out and will be there for a while. GPUs will basically have to adhere to it. In 220V countries (or if you are lucky to have a socket like that in your house in the US) you could potentially get more power into a PSU, but I really doubt a mass market manufacturer is going to go for this any time soon. On top of that, it's really hard to get more efficient that this PSU already is. I've built a 2x4090 + Threadripper Pro using this puppy, and it performs admirably, given that at a max load it really pushes the max power limit of both the PSU and the wall socket. This is what you get when you use quality components! If you add all of these points together, you can see, how this is going to be an ultimate PSU for a while, I think for the next decade. It's cost? Pay once, cry once. ... show more

  • Great PSU, plenty of cables, nice packaging
Size: TX-1600W ATX 3.0
The title covers most of it. It’s one of the few options if you need a high quality and high efficiency PSU of this wattage. That can be a bad thing, but in this case, they do a great job with the packaging, docs, parts, etc.

Why make a power supply so big. I use an lian li Evo XL and I can’t use any of the cable management brackets because this power supply is too big. Such a let down because this is such an expensive power supply I thought it wouldn’t be manageable it terms of installing it in the evo xl it’s one of the biggest cases there is ... show more
