This works okay but it is very difficult to navigate down the dryer shaft to gather all of the lent. There is a long metal rod attached to the smaller hose; however, that can get stuck and I find it hard to use that to move the smaller hose. It does not always stay on my vacuum hose and can become disconnected. I don't think it gets all of the lent and can be cumbersome to use. ... show more

    • Great tool to clean out the lint in your dryer

So we were about to replace our dryer as it wasn't drying very well. Took two to three times to dry and wasted a lot of energy. I had already cleaned the lint collector, back of the dryer vent and the stuck a vacuum hose from the dryer vent outside the house up to the dryer. This was my last effort. I stuck the flattened end through the front lint collector and push into the dryer. A big wad of lint came out that was jamming the vent. Pulled more out and used the cleaning wand to swap out the vent. Used the vent cleaner until it was completely clear. No telling how long the lint was jammed in there. Suction power is a function of how powerful your vacuum is and has nothing to do with the lint cleaner. Dryer works fine...like brand new. Towels that took 2-3 hours to dry are dry after the first load 30-45 minutes. BTW, lint build up is a fire hazard. I'll use the cleaning kit every 90-days or so (family of four - lota of washing/drying). Would recommend to clean out lint in the middle of the dryer, which is impossible to get without a wand, or flattened vacuum hose you can snake into the front of the dryer, or something like the cleaning kit. ... show more

Just used this on my dryer . The flatter ridged hose fits into the lint filter space quite nicely. I have had these before, but round ones., and they would not fit into the space at all. This one is perfect. It lets me really get down into the lint filter space and suck it all out. Heartily recommend this one if you are in the market for one. Makes cleaning the lint out of the dryer a sinch. I don't think most people realize how much lint gets past the lint screen and the thought of a dryer fire scares the h@#l out of me. Easy to use, easy to get in all the little places and get far down in there
