I got this on Prime Day sale for a dirt cheap price. 8tb is a ton of space for pictures, music and especially backups of my Blu Ray movies. The one major drawback that really ticked me off was this drive doesn't work well with external enclosures. I had this drive on a 2 drive USB 3.0 docking bay and within a couple days the format got corrupted and I lost several terabytes of Blu Ray movies. I was p##sed off.
