    • There are a lot of poor solutions for sprayers, this one seems to be among the better ones.
I bought some sprayers to kill weeds before and they were terrible. A pump-up type I used literally exploded on me and some others leaked all over the place. Still some others would clog up and had to be rinsed out and disassembled to keep operating at a minimum level. Plus, those smaller versions would hold only a small amount of liquid and had to be refilled constantly. This one solves all of those issues and then some. First of all, it has a large battery and powerful pumping system. No tire pump like manual pressure. Next, it has a huge capacity. I have a similar one that is about half the size, but I fill it with only partway full as it gets heavy even with the shoulder strap. It had a strain filter to help clogging. This due to the backpack style harness can be filled up all the way and is not hard to manage. When mixing weed killers or filling with water and powdered mixes It had a strain and two other filtration systems to prevent clogs. It's easy to keep clear as it can run through a gallon of water to flush it out quickly when you've completed the work. Comes with a single and double sprayer that can be adjusted as far as width. Could probably be used to wash a car as well as a weed killer or just to wet down an area. Large battery lets it run for 3 hours or more to do large scale gardening or lawn applications. Very reliable and inexpensive solution much more effective than those small spray systems that often come with gallon week killer bottles. Recommended. ... show more

This powered sprayer is the exact thing I needed to make gardening so much easier!! It has a 4gal/16L tank; I personally cannot lift it off the ground if it’s filled to the top but my husband can. I can lift it with no problem if it’s filled up while sitting on our patio table! The straps and the back of this machine make it so easy and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Comes with multiple attachments for the tip of the sprayer, easy to follow instructions, a separate charger for the battery. You won’t regret this purchase, I highly recommend this sprayer to everyone!!     • Compact sprayer is a real hand saver
My husband and I are both developing arthritis in our hands, but being farmers, we can't just not do stuff. I was very happy to find this battery operated sprayer for our myriad spray chores around the farm. This is a nice compact sprayer with a removable battery pack. I like the idea that if an additional battery was available then you could exchange a discharged for a charged battery and continue your work. The battery has a good amp hour rating so it runs a long time. A charge indicator would be helpful. The drain is in an inconvenient place because it is not close to the bottom of the sprayer, rather it is next to where the hose connects, so if you wanted to drain it out completely you would turn it on its side. But then that interferes with the connection of the hose. Other than that, it is a nice compact comfortable design at an excellent price point.     • No more pumping!
Ordered this sprayer to replace a 2 gallon pump up sprayer. The 2 gallon unit was good for my old house, but my new house has more area to cover. Using this for insect control. 4 gallons is a lot of weight to put on and carry around, but doing so in a backpack is reasonable (~35 lbs full.) The sprayer has two spray heads, a single spray which puts out a horizontal line of spray, and a double head where each head puts out a finer 360 degree mist. The battery can be charged in or out of the sprayer. There is no indication of how much of a charge the battery has. You can only tell it is fully charged when the charger light goes from red to green. The manufacturer recommends charging after each use and at least every 3 months when idle. The media could not be loaded. Just opened this and was livid thinking there was no battery. Finally checked the unit and found it. Lol. This unit is quality. Thick plastic. Heavy duty padded shoulder straps. The rubber hose is nice and flexible.. I have a power washing job where I will be spraying on a mold prevention liquid after the surface is clean. With out this unit I'd be pumping away on my pump sprayer. Really happy with quality of everything here. I can't speak to battery or reliability of the unit because I haven't gotten it wet yet. . I will be putting it through hel.l.o tomorrow.. ill have a better idea of fit and function. Out of the box it's everything and possible more that you'd find on larger brand names.. this puppy is stout. Update. So I used the sprayer today .. All I can say is wow. I never knew I needed this. I ran 12 gallons through it.. 2 different chemicals so I had to clean in between.. its a breeze to clean out.. the battery still has charge. This sprayer is the real deal. Iv needed a sprayer for my outdoor plants pesticides and thoa one is perfect. The spray is a great even mist that allows full coverage with no pumping. Just make sure the bakeries are charged up and as long as the tank is full, you can spray. Huge time saver, back saver and arm saver.

    • Capacity and Ease of Use outweigh lack of comfort
This backpack sprayer might be the last one you need. No more mixing 1 gallon at a time, pumping every 30 seconds for pressure, then do it all over again when it's empty. With a 4 gallon capacity it'll handle most all residential applications - from foliage fertilizer to pesticides and herbicides. The shoulder straps are thick/padded, although the tank lacks some curvature to really get comfortable. The back padding does help some. As for weight, keep in my 4 gallons of water weighs ~30 lbs, so it very well might get heavy after some time. I appreciate that connections between the unit and backpack are metal, limiting potential failure points made of plastic. ... show more

This is a handy dandy sprayer, it is battery operated, comes with charger and a battery. Has shoulder straps that are padded, so you don't have to constantly hold it. Comes with a rubber hose and is super easy to use. @ $99.99 you can't go wrong, it's worth every penny in my opinion.
