This is a nice, standard case—not too bulky or heavy! It does have a bit of a plastic smell but nothing too intense. The color does not look like the photo - I got the neon green and it’s more like a sea foam color. It’s easy to snap onto a MacBook Pro (it doesn’t snap on super tight which I think is a good thing) and hasn’t fallen off. I really like the bright red color and the fast shipping, but the quality isn't great. I bought this for a 2019 Macbook Pro 15". Firstly, I noticed that the right side air intake slot was broken on the front. That is annoying buy minor, so I won't return it just for that. More annoying is the lid cover keeps popping off whenever I pick up the laptop, set it down with the lid open or open it. I bought another set for a 13" Macbook Air and it works fine. I ordered this Macbook case in the coral color. I wasn't sure if it would be translucent and show the apple logo, as it does in the product image. It turned out to be opaque. When the apple is lit up you can kind of see it but I think most people don't notice it. I have had a few surprised looks when people see the front and realize it's a Macbook. As far as I'm concerned bystanders don't need to know what brand of laptop I'm using, so the opaque material is fine. It is a really lovely color and I have received many compliments and questions about where I got it. The "soft touch" makes it less slippery to handle and I think more durable than my previous cover which was a translucent hard plastic. I also really like the thin silicone matching keyboard cover I received. I didn't expect that I would use it but I do after all. I found that even more than protecting my keyboard from crumbs, the feel of the cover is nice under my fingertips. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

Let this review be the deciding factor for you. I've had this kit for 4 months and used it daily. Everything, and I mean everything, that comes with this kit is absolutely useless. It felt like a great deal when I purchased it, but not 4 months later and I will be replacing everything. The screen protector: It holds onto dust and cat hair and makes the screen appear much dirtier than it would without it. On top of that, whatever plastic material it is makes it difficult to clean and keep clean. The port covers: Pointless. I put them all in, but once I went to use the ports, I took them out and they were gone. Generally speaking, I don't quite understand the value of these. The hard case: Even when clipped into place, it doesn't stay on. Additionally, for some reason there are really terrible cracks on the corners where the case hinges? Not only have I never dropped my laptop, I also keep it in a giant, puffy laptop sleeve for extra protection. For there to be these terrible cracks is a testament to just how bad this cover is. The keyboard cover: How this cover didn't fit out the box is beyond me. It doesn't lay flat. At first, I thought it was because you had to use it so that the grooves of the cover could settle into the grooves of the keyboard. 4 months later, I'm here to tell you it doesn't get better. It's like the cover has been stretched out, but it still fits end to. Skip this and save your money. I hate almost everything about this except the color on the case, which is why I'm not annoyed I can't make this a 0 star review. ... show more
