This product does provide protection, but as other reviews have mentioned, it isn't super durable. For $12 or so, if I have to rebuy once a year, I'm fine with that. The Mac Air is slick as anything, so $1 a month is good security. Would it help in a drop? I doubt it. But it gives a little more protection from bumps and scratches, and at this price-point, I'm find with that. ... show more

This is my second case I have ordered from this company. The first one lasted a couple of years and I was very happy with it. This one is cracked after 6 months and the keyboard cover does not fit correctly. Will not be buying again.
