This is an outstanding deal, much much cheaper than any other product that I saw. I've been jumping in and out of my ponds trying carefully at first and then just hopping in as I've been installing it and it's held up really fantastic. The pond base that I've set this over has small pea sized stones and rough dirt, it is not smooth and the liner just really held up well. The thickness 20 ml is half - 5 compared to the standard 45 ml. It is difficult to work with because of the nature the material (not unique to this product) and requires a decent amount of effort to get it placed, of course dependent on the shape of your pond. But compared to a 45 mil this is really easy to work with. I would recommend a second person to HELP. Also depending on your base that you're placing it on, especially if the base is smooth or soft dirt, I think this is more than sufficient versus a 45 mil. if you have a lot of sharp rocks in the pond, you may want to think about it a little bit but really the price is incredible versus other options. ... show more

I love the thickness of this pond liner. We use this for our starter troughs for growing lettuce. Other plastics rip or get punctured easily. This liner is really easy to clean without leaking. It’s easy to contour to the table itself. And easy to trim to size if needed. Really worth the purchase.

My plastic pond part broke. I was devastated to see my water slowly leak. I ordered this. Installed it over the old pond insert. It works great. It’s pretty thick. Thickness is good but also makes it hard to do some bends. I’d rather have it have trouble doing bends vs thin and break.

    • No Good. Liner had a hole about 1/2” in size.
Like many reviews I’ve read. Once unboxed and laid out. I noticed a hole in the crease where it was folded. Seems thick but I think it’s very brittle.

I wanted a pond but buying those tubs is very expensive. I ordered this and crossed my fingers hoping it would do the trick. It works perfectly. Material is very very thick. We put big very rough rocks and gravel all over it have multiple fish and a fountain and it hasn’t snagged or ripped at all. We have now had this pond for over 6 months and still no issues. DOES NOT STRETCH! This is NOT a rubber liner. You have to fold it, as you fill it. Nice and tough, easy enough to install if you pay attention as you go. Large, especially for the money! Love it!!

This product is probably ok if you are using it to build a pond or water feature in sandy, fine soil. I have rocky, sharp and jagged soil and did not use any pad or filler when installing my liner and despite removing as many potential sharp rocks when i filled it with water and the weight compacted the liner into the freshly dug hole a rock poked through it and ruined the project. Its not the products fault as it is what it says it is but be wary of ANY rocks, roots or potential protruding items in your soil. I ended up buying a 45 mil EPDM which is like a thick innertube material (rubber) and that works great! ... show more
