Not only does it work seamlessly, I was able to play pirated movies on my I Pad. And the device accepts the Apple cable for charging. If it breaks or stops working for any reason, I will update. Obviously, the player Apple uses to view video files will not play every type of file. .mkv files won't play for instance on my I Pad. If you had an .mkv file - for example - convert it to a file type that works - like mp4. Many websites online provide this service for free. Also, the unique plug Apple has for all it's devices are prone to need of regular replacement. This type of cord more often than other cables no longer function after only a few months with cheap cords... and this is a very cheap cord. Once plugged into your Apple device, I wouldn't recommend not unplugging and plugging back into. And, when the plug no longer functions, the entire product here will become useless. ... show more

It seems a little too simple to work but it works exactly how it seems and is extremely easy to use. Super lightweight and parts come unattatched. Cant be used for charging. Images come off the camera and into my phone with very good quality and resolution.

    • Lost all my photos
I only used this photo importing device once, and it wiped my entire SD memory card. I’ve had this SD card for a few years now. I had about 30-40 photos total stored on the SD card. When I tried to import the photos to my iPhone using this device, it showed no images available to import. So I removed the SD card and tried uploading the photos to my computer (as I’ve done several times in the past) which also came up blank. At that point, I removed the SD card from my computer and tried putting it back into my digital camera. When I turned the camera on, the screen began to glitch on and off with an error message that said, “card cannot be read” and the camera lens was closing and opening. I panicked and turned the camera off because I was afraid it was about to mess up my camera or something! I’ve never seen anything like this happen. I tried turning on the camera again without the SD card in it, and it worked totally fine. It’s like somehow the SD card caught a virus the moment I put it into the import device. I brought my SD card to a Camera/Photo shop in hopes I could recover the photos, but the man who worked there said the card was completely wiped and no longer readable. He also believes that the card must’ve caught a virus from using the import device, because there was no other explanation as to why this would happen. I looked through these reviews to see if maybe someone might’ve had the same experience as I did, but nothing like this has been reported by anyone else! I guess that means I’m just extremely unlucky lol. I was pretty sad about losing my photos, but it is what it is and I bought a new memory card. However, I’m nervous to try using the import device again. I’m convinced that the device I received was defective, so I will not be using it. For this reason, I’m going to give the device a one star rating ... show more

Our use of this is moving the photos from a canon to Apple phones and iPads! It’s amazing! such sn easy pair and super compact to put in any bag or pocket to cart around. Very durable and versatile to the various Apple products and storage cards.
