Features

  • High Density 10W Laser PowerAdopting ultra-thin laser beam shaping technology, the laser output power of S10 laser engraver is increased to 10W, which is twice that of the S9. But it obtains the same ultra-thin laser beam with 0.08mm focus as S9, which means S10 has higher energy density, stronger cutting penetration and engraving capabilities. It can cut high density woods such as MDF and walnut easier.
  • Industrial-grade Engraving AccuracyS10 laser engraving machine adopts industrial high-precision anti-shake linear X-axis slide rail, which avoids the wave line marks that other laser engravers appear when engraving or cutting and improves its engraving accuracy. It also adopts more advanced 32-bit chips motherboard to increase the speed of computating and processing and make engraving more accurate.
  • Powerful High-Speed Air AssistS10 laser cutter comes with a high-speed air assist nozzle and tube design. The nozzle adopts an advanced fluid mechanics design to better utilize the air pressure. It can spray high-speed airflow up to 14.5m/s and greatly improve the cutting penetration, cutting efficiency and cutting quality when connected to the 30L/min 0.03Mpa air compressor(need to buy additonal) it fits.
  • Adjustable Laser Eye ShieldWith the upgrade of S10 laser head, the laser filter shield which blocks the dazzling laser is also upgraded to be adjustable. It can be adjusted up or down, flipped or removed to meet your needs. Since the laser is more powerful, we still provide you with a pair of laser protective goggle to provide adequate protection for your eyes and a A4 steel pad to protect your table from laser damage.
  • Widely CompatibilityS10 laser engraver for wood and metal is compatible with software such as LaserGRBL, LightBurn, Benbox, GrblController, LiteFire, supports Windows system and MAC system(LightBurn), supports file formats NC, BMP, JPG, PNG, DXF and other image formats. • Wow, so much fun!
Assembly was easy, once I figured out the pictograms haha. It comes with 2 small pieces of wood and a piece of sheet metal. I used trial software Lightburn and within minutes of having it assembled I was able to etch my company logo onto a wood piece. I have since started etching logos on ceramic tiles. There are a lot of videos on how to these things and if you make a mistake, they are only 39 cents so toss it and adjust the settings and try again. It is awesome to see the results! I do recommend a laser printer for the hobbyist! (And this one is just fine so far, no issues and works great!) ... show more

  • I love this thing!
was fairly easy to put together. My manual dexterity isn't the greatest so it may have taken me just a little longer but the directions were pretty easy to follow. As soon as I got it put together, I fired it up and did a couple of simple test engravings and then the moment I have been waiting for...I did the simple cut pictured above in ONE pass! I have a Yora Home and have not been able to do any actual cuts with it. I need to also mention that the focus is pretty simple....there is zero quesswork to it! Super happy that I bought this! ... show more

  • Good laser. Questionable support by manufacturer.
Size: S10
I purchased the S10 laser in August. In December, a mere 3 months later, the laser head suddenly failed. Everything else works, but the laser does not come on. I contacted Sculpfun directly for warranty repair and they replied quickly, but the email made very little sense. It said that I wasn’t to worry and they wanted my help to “shoot” the laser (I’m guessing they meant “troubleshoot”). They didn’t say what information they needed or what I was to do to troubleshoot. I replied twice to that email and so far no response. I finally got an answer and they requested a video, which I sent immediately. A coupe of days later, I received an email saying they were sending a replacement cable. The cable arrived yesterday. It took roughly one month to resolve the issue. The laser is a good machine, well built. Support is there, but be prepared for a long wait. ... show more

  • So far so good
Very simple to assemble. Everything came out of the box undamaged due to the care taken during it's packing. Only issue is there is a big learning curve to learning the light burn software or the lasergrbl software. The light burn software is the better choice for this engraver due to the ability to change things around. For beginner use the lasergrbl because it's more like a drag and drop type program. Overall great laser so far. ... show more

  • cutting depth greatly exaggerated?
This machine is built pretty well, and seems to track and lay down accurate laser etching lines.....but....in its description it states that it can cut 1/2 inch thick woood...it came with 1/8 inch thick sample pieces and it took four passes at speed 200mm at full power to start cutting through the wood...I moved the piece before the 5 pass so I ended up having to use an exacto knife on the back side...after which I tried cutting a 1/4 inch thick piece of pine hobby board..with the piece elevated so I could see if the bottom side was being cut through, I reduced the speed to 100mm and after the tenth pass it still wasn't cutting through it??? Maybe defective laser diode?...thinking about returning. Spent $150 more on this model since it stated that it could cut 1/2 inch thick wood.... ... show more

  • NEEDS MORE PASSES TO CUT WOOD
IT DOES NOT CUT AS EASILY AS THEY SAID

  • EASY assembly EXCELLENT performance!
The media could not be loaded. As someone with little to no experience with these types of machines, I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly I was able to assemble the machine and get up and running with my first project. Within an hour of my initial unboxing, I was already up and running with my first project. WHAT'S IN THE BOX: * S6 Pro laser engraver and cutter machine semi-assembled * 4x4in wood panel (x2) * sheet metal * laser module * laser calibration column * instruction manual * ASSEMBLY: The S6 Pro arrives partially assembled in a box and requires you to assemble the frame and attach the y-axis belts. The x-gantry arrives pre-assembled and needs only to be slid onto the assembled frame. Once that is done you attach the laser module and calibrate the distance using the 20mm aluminum column that is provided. The entire assembly process went smoothly thanks to the well written and illustrated instruction manual, as well as the clearly labeled parts. All parts were labeled with part names as well as numbers that corresponded to the specific stage of the step that they are required for. The instruction manual is truly the best I've seen. HOW TO USE IT: Once you have the machine assembled, connect it to your computer using the USB cable that is provided. If you don't already have LaserGRBL installed, you'll need to install it. I just searched for "LaserGRBL" and went to their website to download the latest version. The software is fairly simple and easy to use, even for a first timer like myself. I ended up using my desktop background image of my dog as a test photo, which isn't ideal in terms of contrast but I figured it was good enough. I opened the .jpg file of my dog in LaserGRBL, which pops up a window that gives a few different options for image rendering and minor contrast/brightness adjustments. Once you have those options selected, you're taken to another window that allows you to change the material and machine settings (cut or engrave). After you select those options, the project loads with a preview on the screen, and all you have to do is press play and the machine starts working. RESULTS: For someone who hasn't done this before, I was pretty amazed with how quickly I was able to get the photo of my dog etched onto some wood panels. There's definitely more fine tuning to be done, but not bad as a starting point. Great machine for beginners. FINAL VERDICT: The build quality is so much better than other similar machines I've come across. That coupled with how easy it is to get started with this machine make it a fantastic choice for beginners and experienced users alike. ... show more

  • Jagged lines
So using lightburn my images need a mirror to see them correctly (not sure if its a problem with the laser or lightburn), plus as you can see in the picture when making curved lines the laser wobbles on its track. There are no side mounted wheels to stabilize the laser during acceleration or deceleration. I tried multiple ways to correct this to avoid returning the laser but it is now in the mail on its way back. If they correct the laser stabilization issue this would make a great hobby laser. Well and the mirror image effect. The Y axis rails are SOLID. Easy to set up. ... show more
