  • Perfect! Not too soft & not too hard!
Color: White
I have been experimenting with different types of sculpey and of course I started with Original Sculpey- This I found was too soft & picked up a ton of finger prints and is somewhat fragile after baking. I have also tried Super Sculpey- which leaves hardly any finger prints but is Very hard and takes a long time to condition. With that being said, I tried Premo. This is the perfect ‘in-between’ regular Sculpey and Super Sculpey. It’s not too soft but not too hard either and after all my experimenting, I would suggest going with this type! Especially if you’re making charms and little figurines that need to last and stay strong. For bigger projects I would suggest investing in Super Sculpey. But- Premo is perfect! It’s not too soft and crumbly like regular Sculpey and is not as hard as Super Sculpey. It also doesn’t hold fingerprints as bad as regular sculpey. This is more of a personal preference though! I have issues with my hands and this isn’t the softest clay to use but I like it’s strength and how it holds details. So, be patient and maybe invest in a conditioning machine or a Never Knead if you have issues with your hands like I do! Have fun! ... show more

  • Favorite clay
Color: White
Sculpey Premo clay is my go to clay. It's firm enough for beautiful canework but still malleable but not crumbly and doesn't need as much one to condition like some other clays.

  • Premo clay is the best!!!!!
Color: White
I use this clay for blending with other colors of clay, and pearl ex pigments to make pastel colors, and I use it often for caning. Premo brand holds its shape absolutely wonderfully and is great for intricate canework, mokume gane, and wonderful for use with stencils because it holds its shape enough that the edges don't get jagged (a problem I was having when I was using sculpey 3 with the stencils). ... show more

  • Brick wrapped in plastic
Color: White
Ordered this product that claims to be clay, but when we received it this morning, its dry, hard, and crumbling. Wont absorb water to soften up and be pliable. Waste of money

  • Product as expected.
Color: White
Product arrived in a timely manner, and as described. I was expecting clay and that's what I got.

  • Very good product, but old stock
Color: White
I like this type of polymer clay, but the one I received was about three years old. It was pretty difficult to work with, and I had a very hard time softening it. I actually never really got it into a 100% workable state. I'd never used Sculpey Premo before, so I bought some directly from Sculpey to see if it's always that way, and while it also started out being more difficult to work with, it got easier much faster. I think the issue is that they just sold me old stock. At least it wasn't crumbling, but it being that old did make it much harder to work with. I heard that rubbing alcohol makes it easier to use, but I couldn't use that for my project. ... show more

  • Great product
Color: White
You need to work this clay a bit to condition it but once done the sky and your imagination is the limit. This clay does not soften too much if your hands are warm. It's a bit more forgiving then the Sculpey III clay which does get very soft if you hands are too warm. Over all a wonderful product which I not only recomend but will purchase myself again and again. ... show more

  • Very crumbly

It’s okay but it was very crumbly to the touch which = old.
