These items are exactly as described. The tablets are drop ins that are placed in the tank after flushing and keep the toilet bowl clean for a couple of weeks. This isn't going to clean an already stained/dirty toilet bowl - think of it more as preventative maintenance to reduce the amount of scrubbing you'll need to do. It cleans & deodorizes. I like the blue color, as I can easily tell when it needs replaced. It seems to last us a fairly long time too.

Unfortunately these don’t clean as well as the original ones for my kit. The water comes out very blue which I don’t think looks nice. The smell is a little strong but I actually think it’s pleasant and I only use 1/4 at a time until it dissolves or the water is less dark blue.

Just hope they don’t poison my big dog! You still need to clean your bowl and they do leave a gritty substance in the tank and it’s a brand new toilet and I have soft water.
