I realize the before and after, aside from the pink foam in between shot may not look all that different. Nevertheless, the stains picture went from immovable with not even a toilet brush (ha!), Comet (useless), baking soda (fail), god knows what other products and a ridiculous amount of elbow grease with my arms half submerged in a toilet bowl and (yuck) splashing water, and time spent with cleaner sitting in the bowl waiting. Worked well enough on one toilet which was much more gruesome of a task to face (sadly for the interested consumer, no photos of that transformation) in the house that I ordered more for the other. This product doesn’t work miracles effortlessly, for my toilets at least, as some follow-up scrubbing (with a standard toilet brush, the work did not require breaking out my pumice stone) is required. I am hopeful putting this product into my regular cleaning rotation for now will equate to less effort in the maintenance of my toilets. Importantly, after a semi-successful clean with one packet following the instruction, I let the second packet sit in the other toilet over night. Highly recommend letting the product do whatever it does for longer than the directions state. No visible damage to the bowl (what can I say, I live dangerously) following the longer application. ... show more

Priced higher than I'd like and packed in smaller quantities than I'd want, this stuff works well at suggesting a clean toilet after use. I'm not necessarily confident it actually *is* clean, the way I would with bleach or Lysol, but it's very easy to use and I am satisfied with the results.

I succumbed to the online hype and purchased the two pack despite what I think is a relatively high price. My main concern has always been the hard water because we live in a county that uses well water often. I gave it a try and it worked exactly like my other scrubbing bubbles cleaner, which is just cheaper. You can see from my pictures it did not remove the hard water stains even after scrubbing and I had to resort to my usual pumice stone to finish the job. I'm giving three stars because it is fun to watch it bubble and it did clean my toilet, but it's not the miracle I was hoping for. ... show more

I live in an area with very hard water & am renting a place where the toilet had a huge ring of mold in the bowl when I moved in. While I can keep the mold growth to a minimum, I've never been able to get rid of it completely. So my toilet problem points are a ring of mold around the top of the bowl & a ring of lyme buildup at the resting water level in the bowl - sometimes with a bit of discoloration as well. This contains 2 packages of powder-1 pkg per use. I needed scissors to open the pkg/pouch. Flushed, let the water come to a rest & poured the pkg in. It does foam up quite a bit, but did not come to the top of the bowl which is where the mold line is. The scent would be pleasant to me if it weren't so dang overpowering. It is WAY too strong-to the point I had to put on a mask in the hopes of not choking on the overwhelming smell. I waited the specified 10 min before scrubbing, flushed, &...it looked no different than if I'd used my regular toilet bowl cleaner ( which costs $3-$4 & lasts about a season/3 months compared to the 2 cleanings total for this). This just does not deliver the promised results. It's more expensive than my regular (brand name, popular) toilet bowl cleaner, provides considerably fewer cleanings, & does the same job as said normal cleaner, so it's just common sense to stick with the more cost effective option. Learn from my experience & save your money. Just keep buying your regular product, or use this $5 or so bucks to invest in some long rubber gloves & a pumice stone (& maybe some CLR) which actually works to remove all that lyme, mold, calcium, & rust when you combine it with some good old fashioned elbow grease. ... show more

Purchased this because I've used the pink paste on the hardwater stains in our showers. This foams up quickly. Smell is fine - not too strong. I used a scrub brush to get rid of the hard water stains. We have well water. It's brutal on the tubs ands and toilets. It was easier to scrub out than the pumice stone (which we normally use) and better than a scouring powder. It worked. And I'm going to use again. Worth the $ and bit of effort. ... show more

This is expensive but it's worth it. It makes the entire room smell nice and it gets all the stains off the bowl. I recommend dumping some ice in there first so the foaming powder gets up the sides of the toilet as well. I let it sit for thirty minutes and then scrub.
