I have always loved using a sponge instead of a dish rag. I used to buy sponges and net scrubbers, but now I only buy these. They hold up well and work so great on my pans that I hand wash. Every day I use the sponge, put it in the dishwasher with the dirty dishes to sanitize it, and these sponges stay clean, smell good, and work well for months. I've also put them in a bowl of vinegar and microwaved them to sanitize the and they hold up to this and can be used repeatedly.
