The connectors that attached stretchy strips to the protector (three per) all have tiny plastic lock that goes into the tiny hole. This is why I took two stars off. The rest is solid and good. I use it for scooting around town of San Francisco. UPDATE: after three months of use, I barely ever use the shoulder pads. I just use the foot ones, and I do like them. They wrap around the lower part of the leg, giving better protection. And I’ve gotten used to the smaller lock pins that lock the attachment strip. Moved the review up to 5 stars now, with the caveat that I should’ve just gotten the legs. ... show more

I Onewheel in the woods on mountain bike trails. I can't tell you how many times I fell with my old skateboarding pads and got hurt just outside my knee or elbow pads protection. These are great. Large protection coverage. Barely notice they're on. The quick disconnect clips don't work that great but undoing the velcro isn't that big of a deal. Great pads and price. The media could not be loaded. I must say that I am VERY impressed with this 4 piece set ! I've never bought knee/shin or elbow pads/protectors before . I'm so glad I purchased these ! VERY comfortable, VERY well made , and stylish ! The pads also come in a little bag/case for storage and transport. I purchased these to add to my doomsday prepping gear and survival gear . I am 5/11" and about 175lbs give or take , and they fit so perfect, as you can adjust each pad with the velcro straps. There's 3 velcro straps for each pad . The only thing I would like to be different is the little nub that hooks the straps onto the other side of the pads is plastic and doesn't seem very durable because it's thin plastic. It really should be made of metal for long-term use and more durability! That is my only complaint as I'm sure anyone else would agree with me . Thank you for the great product! The media could not be loaded. Amazing motorcycle knee and shin pads. Let me start by saying these are amazing knee pads, I'm speaking from experience. I was on a 1991 Kawasaki Ninja ex 500 when I hit a pothole and laid it down going 40mph. These knee pads protected my right knee from the impact and both knees from the 50+ ft slide. The only thing I had was a little bruise on my right knee where it impacted. It probably saved me from a broken knee. They have a soft inside and a harder shell, they are only CE level 1 protection, but they are the best ones I could find with the side leg protection. They are very flexible and comfortable, they do get a little hot but that's to be expected. I would without hesitation buy these again. In fact, I will be buying another pair and maybe even their elbow pads this time In fact I hope they make some with CE level 2 protection. The storage bag is great quality and so is this very well thought out product. I almost forgot to mention, they look really sick ... show more

I wear my Scoyco knee and elbow guards when I ride my Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus e-scooter which goes 44mph+ and they are comfortable when I wear shorts or jeans and when I wear a long sleeve shirt or short sleeve shirt. I also wear a Motocross style helmet for head and face protection as now that I'm 51 years old I don't need any broken bones or road rash. ... show more
